Law enforcement is most obese profession - study

Probably because most get paid well, and they probably don't have huge school loans to pay off...more money for Five Guys! Oh, and they spend most of their time outside an office, hence, "Siri, please locate the nearest Five Guys!"

Meanwhile, all those other professions typically require years of schooling which equals years of paying off school loans.

Donuts>School loans

That fucking Siri is a lying bitch! I ask for the nearest five guys and the bitch led me to a gay bar. My ass still hurts, and all because I like burgers. Who hasn't blown someone for a burger? That's right, no one!

Skinny dudes aren't as equipped to handle society's shit tier bruisers. Gotta have some weight to throw around.

You could've not entered the gay bar it directed you to, right?

Personally I'd get a badge to take advantage of that pussy that likes to be dominated rather than tussling with fella's. But that's me. :icon_chee

They do that too . Im sure cops get solicited in exchange to rip up a ticket or not charge some one with a crime but it gets in their head that they think all women want them and they do try to take advantage of that . There is probably a lot of sexual assault and rape by the po po .

And your problem with my posts are what exactly? sir, we are all entitled to our opinions. you and I have I'm assuming vastly different upbringings'. like I'm sure you've probably never even fired a bb gun, and the thought of hunting appalls you.

while the thought of sitting in Starbucks with a bunch of hippies with stretched out hoop ears and nose piercings talking about how awesome Obama is enough to make me consider seppuku.

but its cool dude, were just different. besides the fact that I'm better than you shouldn't deter us from having a civil discourse.

And I suppose you think I should have not taken on all five guys, too? That's what's wrong with this country now, no one follows through with their commitments. It's rude to ask for advice, then not take it. "Siri, I need help!" Then I don't like the help she offers?

Hmmmm...although I certainly admire your level of commitment, I get the feeling you knew exactly where SIRI was taking you.

You sound like a small town cop and the most action you see on duty is frivolously ticketing civilians to quench your lust for authority .

Siri , am i right ?

Yeah, but I was hoping she would take me in the back door.

Your mom gave me quite a bit of action and quenched my lust nicely. I had never actually watched someone insert a diaphragm and did not know they were still in use.

didnt read through thread, but yes this is from 2014. heres a link to the paper, and not the shit interpretations of some media site.

yes, their definition of obesity is based on BMI. The paper finds an association between hostile work environment and obesity. Keep in mind, association does not imply causality, or the converse. to imply causality, they would have had to measure bmi before someone became a full time worker in their profession and a bmi some time after.

I talked to a female in law enforcement today. She said the amount of sitting and the hours are hard on you. You've gotta eat right which is tough. And work out when you're off duty.

american law enforcement are often fat

start off in shape but slowly pig up

I suppose that being a cop could appeal to fat people for some reason

SMH.

Damn cortisol stress reactions! Probably more to do with getting discounts at all fast food joints does not help, either.

Out of the hundreds of police officers I have worked with, very few were what I would call obese-like the pictures of the fat cop with guts hanging over his belt. I was in the academy with 65 guys, and maybe two or three of those were fatties.

Most of the guys that I work with tend to be fairly skinny and between 160-190 lbs. But there are also quite a few that are over 200, and maybe 15-20 that are 220 and over. I would say of the guys over 220, maybe 3 are obese-with one of those guys being the fastest runner on the department.

The rest of those guys are body builder types, myself included. At 5'10", 220 the Body Mass Index considers my build obese, which causes me to roid-rage out and stomp the ever living hell out of the index, then I taser it to be sure.

Where the fuck have you been bro?

they also are more prone to be alcoholics and beat their spouses. the moral is they are the profession to be least admired. good cops are few and far between
