Man, so many things to comment on in this thread. If everybody in the audience had a gun this would NOT have been prevented or less worse. Everybody would panic and start shooting eachother. Cops with pulled guns panic when the person they are aiming their gun on sneezes, how do you think thousands of drunk randoms would react when under fire? People who believe this have watched too many Rambo movies.

Second point, IS is a political organization and has little to do with religion. They claim attacks they have nothing to do with for political gains. Religion is politics 9 out of 10 times anyway but IS especially has little to do with religion. The fact that many people don't see all they want is polarization (as opposed to total annahilation of Christians) actually means you are playing into their cards and doing exactly what they want you to do. IS will totally win if the US start another multi-trillion war, lose many brave soldiers and bring themselves on the brink of economic collapse.

So Fox news, congratultions for emboldening IS and being too stupid to understand that.

Third point, fuck the guys who were so certain it was a muslim or a black guy and fuck Trump for not calling this a terrorist act.

A friend took me to Ft Lewis and got me the ok to shoot an M2 while standing in a Humvee. I don't think I stopped smiling for about 48 hours every time I thought about it.

Sensible gun laws according to the left is banning anyone on a fly list...you'll have no idea whether you are on and could take years to get off....lost of 2nd amendment rights.

That being said, most leftists have no idea about guns, especially the coastal ones. Their gun knowledge comes from TV and will want to ban a gun that simply 'looks bad'

and sensible gun laws from the NRA is absolutely nothing at all.

The ATF doesn't even have a gun registry because the NRA has managed the put the fear that all guns will be confiscated and that list is the start. So the ATF has to call the gun manufacturer if they have a request or look through their huge files of gun purchases from various gun shops that went bankrupt. In this day and age, we have an agency forced to use and keep books of purchases instead of digitally putting them in a nice and neat database. You ever watch the show NCIS? They have a suspected murder weapon and they track its history on the computer in 2 mins?... yeah well that shit doesn't exist and you can thank the NRA for that.

I don't like the registry idea simply because I don't think it's Big Brother's business what I own and keep in my safe. They already know I probably own because of my conceal permit, they don't need to know what I have and how much ammo I have IMO.

I was on the scanner throughout. I don't know when first shots fired, but SWAT and officers were in the hallway approximately 10:45pm. There was a lot of cross chatter leading up while they attempted to not have "blue on blue" incidents. You can look to the start of the thread to see when the breach happened live after they decided it was time. I believe it was around 11:30.

I was listening to that go down and right after the pop of the breaching charge you could hear a quick pop pop so I think dude killed himself as they were breaching
