there are plenty of "lefties" that are gun owners (I am such a person). the thing is most gun owners are responsible and actually don't mind sensible gun laws. But the NRA sees otherwise and wants all their lemmings to believe that every single little gun control laws are about taking away guns. then said lemmings go out and buy their 14th gun and 1000s more bullets because they actually believe guns are being confiscated the night after a big gun shooting occurs in the states...

i hope you are being sarcastic.. It would be pretty much impossible to hit a solo target using iron sights on a handgun (lets say 9mm) 30+ floors up and across a street. 99% your bullet hits somewhere and someone else.

fuckin' bozos... you could have outfitted the entire crowd could have been hand carrying legally permitted gun owners carrying a piece and the same amount of people would have died if not more.

I've actually commented to some co-workers on the fact that it is surprising that there hasn't been an incident similar to this more often. if you are going to kill and go out in a blaze of glory a big event like this with a high vantage point is the perfect way to inflict maximum damage in a short amount of time (assuming you have the weapons and ammo to do it).

Ugh, struggling at work to concentrate because of the fact me and my friends were all thinking of going..

Reports are it was an m240 light machine gun, they have variable gas regulators that control cycling rate, also to legally own one takes the highest amount of loops we have to jump thru (letter from chief LEO, passport photos, fingerprints a year long wait, $200 tax, and those rifles are 50k plus if you find one) I'm curious to see the final details.

This is the part that concerns me most.

IF it was a Bump Fire stock those things have this weird selling to their fire rate where they speed up and slow down as they're fired (plus you can't find many mags for an AR over 60 rounds). Based on friends that have watched the vids they say the fire rate never seems to change and is very long which to me implies something like a SAW or M240 or similar.

HOW THE FUCK does someone get that? They're nearly the price as a damn brand new truck plus the wait period and everything else you mentioned.

Also, unlike ARs or even AK's they don't exactly break down into a compact package either which means if he had that it probably took up a single suitcase by itself.

Second point, IS is a political organization and has little to do with religion. They claim attacks they have nothing to do with for political gains. Religion is politics 9 out of 10 times anyway but IS especially has little to do with religion. The fact that many people don't see all they want is polarization (as opposed to total annahilation of Christians) actually means you are playing into their cards and doing exactly what they want you to do. IS will totally win if the US start another multi-trillion war, lose many brave soldiers and bring themselves on the brink of economic collapse.
