Crime Las Vegas Mass Shooting

Unlike the trashy leftist websites blaming Trump and White Supremacy (The Atlantic and Salon), here is an informative article on the shooting:

Based on the Early Reports, the Las Vegas Shooting Is Very, Very Strange

It’s significantly different from virtually any other mass shooting in U.S. history. If the weapons were fully automatic, then he likely would have spent immense sums of money to obtain them legally, jumping through extensive legal hoops.

Given these steps, it’s no wonder that crimes with fully-automatic weapons are extraordinarily rare. As my colleague Charlie Cooke tweeted earlier this morning, legally-owned fully-automatic weapons have been used in three crimes since 1934.

So, a person who’s “not a gun guy” has either expended untold thousands of dollars to legally purchase fully-automatic weapons, somehow found them on the black market, or purchased and substantially modified multiple semi-automatic weapons — and did so with enough competence to create a sustained rate of fire. This same person also spent substantial sums purchasing just the right hotel room to maximize casualties. I cannot think of a single other mass shooter who went to this level of expense and planning in the entire history of the United States.

This was the University of Texas tower attack on steroids, conducted out of nowhere, with meticulous planning and at great expense, from a person who doesn’t seem to fit any normal profile of a mass shooter.

All interesting stuff, whether this fuckhead went to these lengths or not

So guys.... can we not try to fit the shooter into our personal bias of whom we WANT it to be? The literal second post in here immediately assumed it was "black supremacy". Then it was ISIS, then it was back to unknown. Then it was predictably the two sides hoping it was the other side of the aisle doing it.

This person is an extremist by his very action. If he was a right-wing guy, I don't then think that means people with guns are immediate terrible. If it was a left-wing guy, I don't then think leftists are radical insane people.

I think extremists are the worst. I think shooters are just sheer awful people. I think no matter what we just lost 58+ people for no real good reason.
I really hate what politics has done to this country. This is the only *political* statement I'll make in regards to all of this.

That's the problem with Urban combat. It's literally a 360 degree shit fest.
I still can hardly distinguish there only being one shooter from most video clips. Sounds like multiple positions and multiple different rifles.

Any idea what weapon fired for 9 seconds straight?

Hey guy... this isn't the time for your speculation. There is VERY little info right now. Save your shit for some other dumbass forum.

Hey.... hey buddy.... why don't you fuck off with it?

I honestly don't follow, see, or think abut Hillary until right-wingers (who always say "get over it she lost") keep posting about her due to the constant keeping tabs on here. Let her go, man. Nobody cares.

Why are people speculating how he got the stuff into the hotel? Very easily.
I have never, ever, ever had my bags checked at a hotel. Especially something as busy as Mandalay Bay, they don't have time to check for shit.

I so think that this is gonna cause metal detectors and scanners at major hotels now though. Staying at a hotel will be like going to the airport
Agreed America will be permanently changed again because of tonight.

Same, and sometimes it's one night here and one night there and I don't really want to leave shit in the car.

I imagine there will be hotels in big areas at least having x-rays soon, especially around big events.

If the hotel I am staying at has notable personnel (England national soccer team, etc.) sometimes they will set up metal detectors for that period of time.

Its easy to kill people with good guns and you don´t need a lot of skills or planning I suppose. Take the asian guy in calltech. Lets not blow this out of proportion, the guy was smart enough to know how far his rifle could hit people and with a simple laser measure tool he could see which room would be the best option.

As for acquiring the guns, he could use darkweb, maybe a mod is not that dificult for someone with skills with tools who knows. But with money you can buy anything if you really want to.

You have to acknowledge that this guy was not a stupid person unfortunately.

These stocks cost as little as $99 and don't require any special tax stamp.

Crisis Actors, baby. We got some woke internet investigators here.

You don't have to play the ethical high ground card by attempting to subjugate... it's played out... the morons who follow others out of fear are amused by it but it reeks of douche...

I feel bad for the brother right now -- media circus outside of his house. He's seemingly handling the questioning well but thats a hell of a thing to wake up to.

Completely agree. I felt really bad for the wife of the guy who shot Scalise this summer. She was being bombarded by journalists and angry Republican voters.

What speculation? French is explaining that at this time things seem very strange and he is informing people about how extremely difficult it is to get the kind of guns the shooter used.
