Social LA Homeless violence on the rise, bum throws Hot Diarrhea on woman in Hollywood

Speaking as someone who has lived in DT LA back in 1994 I can say we used to worry about getting jumped by thugs while walking down the street. But now you have to worry about having hot diarrhea being dumped on your head.............I long for the good ole days.

I lived at the Metropolitan Apartments. Not sure if it is still called that or not?

"ShE sOuNdS pOoR."

This is a state-wide problem.

Recently, in Madera, CA, a man was found dead in a river bed. Cause of death was multiple bite wounds. Police are looking for a well-known transient who frequents the area, and who is known for having large pit bulls with her at all times. She breeds them, tries to get them to attack people.

Why are they in Madera, along the river? Because they are bussed out of Fresno.

Doesn't mean they're not in Fresno, either.

I have friends who work in Security and Housekeeping at Fashion Fair mall here in Fresno. Every morning, they have to pressure-wash shit and piss that was left behind by transients throughout the previous day and night. One Security Officer told me she's nearly slipped and fell on feces while on foot patrol at night in a dark corner.

Transients are everywhere here. People see it and don't like it but feel powerless as to what to do about it.

You would have to see it for yourself and ask yourself if this is somewhere you want to live. Needles everywhere. Mentally ill, violent motherfuckers everywhere.

Nebraska, here I come.

, some people like saying legalize all drugs, but if you do so, this shit happens where they fry their brains and are useless to society because of drug addiction.
You say this shit happens when all the drugs are legal. but right now most drugs are illegal and this shit is happening!!

If anything the war on drugs started in the 80s has proven to cause horrible situations like this. Basic marijuana smokers sent to jail and come out hardened drug users. And guess what - when they are branded convicts they can't get work. and they're addicted to drugs. So they end up homeless. Illegal drugs means those people get inconsistent qualities, inconsistent amounts... It leads to ODs, scarcity drives violence. More rampant addictions because of the additional shames, stigmas and all the crap we put on drug users.

Dam you lived in DTLA before the revitalization not many people lived there during the 90s only druggies and hippy types. My mom worked there from 1988 to 1996 in the garment district, I used to go there as a kid it was horrible smelled like piss, lots of crack heads but not as bad as they are now. Now its like crack head and homelesss on steroids super violent and aggressive.

Every weekend DTLA on Sunday was empty they would film movies there all the time. AT night everyone would leave and it was like The Walking dead only homeless walking around scary shit.

I moved to downtown when they revitalized the City around 2012 to 2015. lived in luxury loft there I only had 7 neighbors but I enjoyed the view. I ran into Terry Crewes, Ceelo green and that actor Frankie Muniz from Malcolm in the middle, they lived in DTLA or have a place there. I also remember seeing Ryan Gosling in line for Sunday Brunch at the Pantry on 9th and Figueroa, nobody bothered him but I knew it was him he was pretty tall he was there with his mom and family.

It reminds me of when I was living in Chicago and some woman was riding the train at 2 am and some homeless dude walked up to her and started hitting her with a sock full of shit.
That had to be the Red Line.

That had to be the Red Line.
No, blue line when it was around the Austin stop. I remember that one cause I was living in oak Park at the time.

A night near the Hollywood Walk of Fame would change a woman's life...
I mean, come on now.

Being pooped on isn't fun... but life changing?

Nah, dog.

Winning the lotto is life changing.

In fact, I'll let a homeless guy throw poop on me every day for a year if I can hit the Power Ball once.

I ate at this cafe about 20 times. It was two blocks from my apartment. Fun fact, OJ Simpson was booked and formally arrested at the courthouse across the street from my apartment. I lived with my buddy who managed that apartment complex and we (us and a few friends) were up on the rooftop partying when it was all happening. We watched all the news helicopters flying around and my then girlfriend and now wife was flashing them. Fun times and memories.

Can we just take a moment to acknowledge that dumping a bucket of diarrhea on someone's head is a little funny
I tend to laugh at damn near anything, but I've yet to find this event even mildly amusing.

This isn't a cartoon, or an SNL skit. This is real life for many in Southern California.

While we might disagree with the cause I actually agree with you and think this is absolute bullshit the people of California are being asked to tolerate and I dont like that it is so down played by liberals at all.

This should not be going on in a country like ours at all.

But whats the cure ? Mass social programs like healthcare for everyone and some kind of basic housing for everyone that cost a ton ( socialism) ? Jail that costs a ton ( tough love)? Re open state hospitals and commit the fuck out of them which will also cost a ton (socialism and tough love)?

Whatcha wanna do here ? I honestly do not have any kind of plan that might actually fix it that isnt going to cost a lot of money

Asking a conservative to propose a solution instead of just complaining... lololololololololololololololo.....
