Know anyone paying alimony?

It's hard not to embrace my inner O.J. sometimes.

I thought if you had proof you spouse cheated that affected alimony. Adriana Lima's husband was cheating on her, or else she would have paid him alimony. At least that is what I understood.

Alimony is the biggest bullshit scam on earth. Women want to be equal yet they still are granted this shit.

I don't care if you stayed home to raise the kids for 15 years. You aagreed to do it knowing the risks. Nobody owes you shit.

Child support is legit though, but even then I wish there was a way to ensure the mom doesn't just spend it on herself.
Alimony is pure bullshit. Child support is bullshit too, but only because it scales with your income. There should be a flat rate of what it costs to raise a child in province/state "X", of which the man will pay HALF. And that's it.

...and yes, I know lots of guys getting fucked for alimony and child support as we speak.

Good point

Yeah this chick gets $10 G's a month because she married a guy who started a successful business. She isn't hot, has zero skills and gives absolutely nothing back to the world. The thing is that she thinks she deserves to have a ton of money based on the fact that she married some guy who was smart and successful. She's a parasite of the highest order.

Is gay alimony a thing yet? Gay marriage is legal now after all.

Nas was paying a crazy figure at one stage too, right?

Some of it is too much but i don't think some of you get what's 10-15 year gap does to your earning potential. You can't just get that back. There are a lot of careers jobs were you are considered too old to start, unfairly thought unskilled, or believed to not be serious about a career. It is like the 10 year stagnation in Japan on the 90s. When the economy came around, companies didn't give two shits about the people who had been literally waiting years to use their trained skills. They just hired fresh grads.

does a pre-marital arrangement work against that?

I have no clue, but the more I learn on the subject the more my already little willingness to marry shrinks.

Scary thought. At this rate its probably cheaper to hire a hitman
