The international affairs and foreign language stuff is from before they started operating inside US borders. They hire a lot of regular ppl now, all ages. Not just up to 35.

Their operations inside the US are very limited. There isn't a lot that they can do legally. I have worked with some of them when I was with DHS Intel. I have no idea what their credentials were to get hired. I assumed that the standards are the same, because they can be reassigned overseas at any time. But, maybe not.
