Leon Edwards wanted the smoke, too bad the fight didn’t happen. I think he smashes everyone but Usman and has some difficulty at 185.

Anyone thinks he could dominate Costa or Vettori? Those guys will take him to the deep waters and I’m curious to see how he does in that division.

From purely a physical standpoint, he's a huge problem for everyone in ww. We already basically knew it, this fight just reconfirmed it

Pretty much, aside from the Wrestling Khamzats size is his biggest asset at Welterweight and he should stay there as long as possible for sure.

I really dont see him being able to ragdoll tanks at MW like Costa and Vettori. Sure he could take them down but he wont manhandle or smother them like he does at Welterweight.

Those Middleweights would survive and push Khamzat to later rounds where things could get interesting. There is weight classes for a reason and people underestimate how much they matter. Especially from Welterweight to Middleweight which is a 20 lbs jump

It's by far Khamzat's toughest fight bc he has never gone the distance. If I'm nate I want 5 rounds.

Lets see if Khamzat can fight for 5 rounds. This guy shot for a double leg GSP style from jump, scared to even try leach on the feet.

I'm not as sold on this Khamzat guy just yet. Give me Nate vs Khamzat, 5 rounds!

I agree, Khamzat passes the eye test but Diaz tests him on the ground & on the feet. If Khamzats cardio holds he wins a decision

I don't know if he'd submit him, but we've seen Nate against bigger wrestlers before.

Like I said, relating to the topic. If I am going to believe this guy is going to steamroll through the best WWs, I need to see him beat some top guys and with top ground games. Li is no scrub, but he's far from a top level grappler. TS made some pretty big claims and IMO Khamzat hasn't shown us he can do vs the elite of the division.

How did I not see the fight?? It was just on lol. I just don't buy into guys like Khamzat until the prove themselves.
Bruh, if you run through a top 15 guy the way Khamzat did against Li then you have proven yourself to be a top grappler in your division. You can't tell me you can name five fighters at WW who are better grapplers than Khamzat.

I was ninjaed by the above poster, but I was going to say imagine Rory vs. Nate trio of slams...but bumped up two or three levels.

We might have the first KO (falling through the cage and hit his head) in MMA history.

All the people saying Khamzat was all hype train are crickets. Honestly I dgaf about rankings and Usman vs Khamzat is far more interesting than anyone above him in ranking. Think Khamzat is ready now.
no, they are just sitting back watching and confirming what they believed. objectively he was just hype. this is a solid win and his performances are great, but seriously, no one would say leech was a great opponent until the matchup announcement.

anywho, i woudnt say title shot right yet, but if he can finish someone like nate and keep his aura going, he should get one. 1 or 2, maybe 3 depending on how things go and he should for sure get a shot.

He will smesh all these guys then you will pretend you knew all along. Usman will be taking a trip in the distant future to the shadow realm, assuming he beats Colby in the rematch.

colby is beating Usman next week. so most likely not.

I’m not saying he will end up as the GOAT, but if you were to end up as the GOAT - this is how your career would start.
100%

No way to say where he goes from here but this is the way GOATs start out. Every one of them.
