Rank the resume's of Khabib, Islam, and Khamzat for the first 5 years of their UFC career:

Khabib 8-0 (2012-2016)
W's vs Shalorus, Tibau, Tavares, Trujillo, Healy, RDA, Horcher, Johnson
(2 fights away from title shot)

Islam 7-1 (2015-2019)
W's vs Kuntz, Wade, Lentz, Tibau, Johnson, Arman, Ramos
L vs Martins
(5 fights away from title shot)

Khamzat 8-0 (2020-2024)
W's vs Phillips, McKee, Meerchaert, Li, Burns, Holland, Usman, Whittaker
(next fight will be for title shot)

Who had/has the toughest first 5 years in UFC? Who's resume is tougher (pound for pound)?

Khamzat winning two back to back in 10 days while taking no damage was impressive. Really thought he would've been champ by now. His best wins were far out of their prime.

Khabib looked a lot more dominant than Islam. Don't forget the RDA he fought became champ a year later.

So it goes Khabib > Khamzat > Islam imo.

Khamzat went life and death with a LW and got dropped several times (Burns)
Islam got KO'ed, dropped, lost many rounds, went life and death many times

All Khabib has is a close match with a juiced up Tibau when Khabib was 23 where he took no damage.

Jon Jones from the top ropes with 14-0 and a new record 6 LHW title defences that's more than Islam, Khabib, and Khamzat combined.

Then he did it for another 12 years and counting.

Sigh. Does Islam defend against a FW tonight? Holloway and Volk got KO'd by a Bantamweight, were they ever any good?

As a fan, I prefer fighters who take chances, even if they might get dropped or have a close fight.

People seriously acting like Burns wouldn't be a tough fight for Islam lmao

GSP did about the same but didn't pop for PEDs 36 times so he wins

Khabib easily has the highest average of quality. Khazmat beat two former champs to Khabib's one so he's a bit more top heavy, but most of his resume is pretty average. Islam easily has the worst resume of the lot.
