well, i've said that both scenarios were stupid while also different.

imagine being surrounded by 20 guys and having 1 of them put his hands on you. you either have to accept being a bitch in the moment or defend yourself knowing very well that all 20 of them will role on you. it was a lose-lose scenario for lobov. it wasn't a heat of the moment acting like a retard event but a conscious act of bullying with an implicit threat of bodily harm. that shouldn't be acceptable behavior either regardless of which fighter you like.

I'm not claiming that what khabib did was acceptable. However, conor caused actual harm. To people who were not involved in any of his bullshit at all. People in the hospital, fights cancelled...

So why even bring up what khabib did? Is it supposed to excuse what conor did? Does it change anything?

There is literally video from inside the bus where a couple of the coaches are trying to get them to open the doors so they could kick the shit out of those goofs but the driver wouldn't let them out. You think a bus full of fighters was simply trying to hide from a manlet and his posse of beta manlets? Conor could have easily showed up at the hotel to single out Khabib. Instead, he had to have his goofy fuckin' entourage follow him into a building and attack a bus and act like clowns AFTER everyone was already loaded up and in transit and had a vehicle running just outside the building to jump in and run like a bitch after the act. yeah, he's a real tough guy for sure.

because our whole conversation started from a comment i made in response to another poster who said that the reason kabib didn't exit the bus was because he was being professional and unwilling to risk his money fight. to which i said, well, it didn't stop him from being unprofessional in the lobov scenario. yadda yadda yadda.
