Kevin Holland made $533,000 this year.

Even if he takes home 40% of that amount he's still earning more than what you are earning.

lol so? I'm not a professional athlete either. I'm just saying people quote these figures to make it look like he's getting rich as if fighting in the UFC is on par with other major sports. . All it will take is one injury or a bad KO and he'll be taking a year off with no income.

You know, half a million is way more than I make and its a great salary for 1 year. Props to him, but 5 fights in year should generate more than half a million imo. His pay would have been drastically less had he not had the year he did (obviously). 5 w's in 1 year is fantastic. He should be getting atleast 150K to show now but what do I know.
Yeah but look at he position he in to renegotiate now. At only 28. Make all the big moves now, and when he 30 to 34 ish, ideally prime years, he can choose to fight once or twice a year and make more

Total Career Earnings: $716,500

2020 -
UFC on ESPN: Overeem vs Harris – May 16/20 – W (Hernandez) – $57,000 ($26,000 to show, $26,000 win bonus, $5,000 fight week incentive pay)
UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs Oleinik – Aug 8/20 – W (Buckley) – $111,000 ($28,000 to show, $28,000 win bonus, $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus, $5,000 fight week incentive pay)*
UFC Fight Night: Covington vs Woodley – Sept 19/20 – W (Stewart) – $101,000 ($48,000 to show, $48,000 win bonus, $5,000 fight week incentive pay)*
UFC Fight Night: Hall vs Silva – Oct 31/20 – W (Ontiveros) – $155,000 ($50,000 to show, $50,000 win bonus, $50,000 Performance of the Night, $5,000 fight week incentive pay)*
UFC 256 – Dec 12/20 – W (Souza) – $109,000 ($52,000 to show, $52,000 win bonus, $5,000 fight week incentive pay)

That's not even including the 20k he got for the cancelled Woodley vs Edwards fight.

Put's into perspective inactive fighters like Leon and Francis who just sit and wait for title shots and big fights that never come. Fight as often as you can while you're healthy. You're not getting any younger.
Cerone, Izzy and magney were doing this before it was fashionable.

well done Mr Holland.

When you fight you earn money. When you sit and wait for fights you make zero. sometimes its works long run but more times you end up just being broke

He also KO'd Buckley and tko'd Geoff Neal while taunting him the whole time. I also think he could have finished Tiago in that 2nd round. The kids legit champ material.

100% true you should be fighting at least 12 times in a year and in a wheelchair by the time youre 25 with 2 mil stacked

Defenitly, that's a great point.

Why you ripping on Francis? He literally tore through the contenders. Stipe is the one that sits around being entitled. His current winstreak consists of wins over the current #2 and #3 ranked guys in the division. Dana already said he's next for the TS and he fought Rozenstruik when he had very little to gain from it.

One of my pet peeves is how these fighters don't use social media. Ryan Garcia is a big name and great boxer, and he said he make more money on his social media than boxing. That's crazy, but it's the new reality.
You're already a public figure, just start a youtube channel and IG account. They could leverage there UFC career into sponsorship outside the cage.
Most of them are pretty active pitching stuff on twitter and IG and have a decent following. Holland already has 30k followers on twitter and his twitter is active and 111k on IG. Not close to Garcia of course. But there are plenty of ufc guys with active accounts and lots of followers, pitching shit every day.

Speaking of Leon, Kevin has already beaten his total career earnings.
Leon - Total Career Earnings: $537,500

Leon has been with the company since 2014, Kevin was signed 4 years later and is already on more show money and has earned more than $200k more in total earnings.

Stay ready, stay busy.

Someone should tweet this to Leon, he needs the wakeup call.

Homie is going to get a nice looking contract once this one is all over, his performances stand for it all, plus he loves to be vocal which is a massive bonus too.

Holland is a breath of fresh air. His manager needs to be renegotiating his contract right now. The man needs to be at least at $100,000 to show.

So he went from 26k/26k to 52k/52k plus incentive and bonuses. Not a bad year at all. Prolly in a good position to ask for another increase next match....hopefully a bit more than the 2k bumps he was getting for the latter fights.

Damn, imagine how much snow that could have bought for Dana White's driveway?

These fighters are overpaid.

Fuck that. The man needs at least 100k/100k right now. If I was his manager I'd push for 200k.

Well I think most deserve more money but doubt that such significant jumps will occur and really not something I put too much concern into.
