I believe he got performance of the night bonusHe didn't get a bonus last night? That KO on the knees was one of the craziest things I've ever seen.

When you're at the top, it's usually not easy to fight 5 times because that would be 5 top fighters in your weight class in the world. Not 4 nobodies and a past prime top fighter.Total Career Earnings: $716,500

2020 -
UFC on ESPN: Overeem vs Harris – May 16/20 – W (Hernandez) – $57,000 ($26,000 to show, $26,000 win bonus, $5,000 fight week incentive pay)
UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs Oleinik – Aug 8/20 – W (Buckley) – $111,000 ($28,000 to show, $28,000 win bonus, $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus, $5,000 fight week incentive pay)*
UFC Fight Night: Covington vs Woodley – Sept 19/20 – W (Stewart) – $101,000 ($48,000 to show, $48,000 win bonus, $5,000 fight week incentive pay)*
UFC Fight Night: Hall vs Silva – Oct 31/20 – W (Ontiveros) – $155,000 ($50,000 to show, $50,000 win bonus, $50,000 Performance of the Night, $5,000 fight week incentive pay)*
UFC 256 – Dec 12/20 – W (Souza) – $109,000 ($52,000 to show, $52,000 win bonus, $5,000 fight week incentive pay)
That's not even including the 20k he got for the cancelled Woodley vs Edwards fight.
Put's into perspective inactive fighters like Leon and Francis who just sit and wait for title shots and big fights that never come. Fight as often as you can while you're healthy. You're not getting any younger.
Why do people always post this kind of thing and never take into account the expense of fighting or any taxes? Holland has to pay income tax and social security (self employment) tax and has to pay his manager and coaches. He doesn't end up with anywhere close to that amount of money when all is said and done.
I mean he's obviously not going broke if he fights that many times but it's not like he's putting it all in the bank and going to live off it the rest of his life.
He's new. It's gonna go up, especially after finishing Jacare in the way he did.You know, half a million is way more than I make and its a great salary for 1 year. Props to him, but 5 fights in year should generate more than half a million imo. His pay would have been drastically less had he not had the year he did (obviously). 5 w's in 1 year is fantastic. He should be getting atleast 150K to show now but what do I know.
And even after expenses, you still take home a LARGE chunk of change. It’s impossible to calculate how much they are paying in taxes without a fighter personal information.
Their fake home salary is public knowledge.
I don’t think people are forgetting they are just using the information that is available to them.
Agreed but I think this year has shown that 10 week fight camps for high ranking fights are gratuitous. And in fact those long camps often lead to injuries or health issues from over training. I don't think it's unreasonable to want champs to consistently book 3 fights a year, especially since a lot of them like Khabib and Usman will pull out of at least one. When you're at the top, it's usually not easy to fight 5 times because that would be 5 top fighters in your weight class in the world. Not 4 nobodies and a past prime top fighter.
I still think this a low number. Keep in mind these numbers aren't factoring his training dues, travel tax, etc.Total Career Earnings: $716,500

Another way to word that. Every single fighter signed and AGREED to a contract. They are making exactly what they think they are worth, it's proven in ink on paper.This. Mfs complain about money, but fight once a year
A nice wallet plus 700 cash if I remember correctlyNot true, someone sent him a couple hundred bucks in the mail

Yep, I agree, and it's also unique to fight 5 times and winning isn't also guaranteed. I'm not trying to hold up Kevin as a direct template, I'm just saying turning down fights for diva is reasons like "This does nothing for me...- (Leon Edwards)", doesn't benefit you at all. I would fight lower ranked guy's all day if I'm getting the same pay. UFC doesn't respect rankings anyway. Just get your money.I still think this a low number. Keep in mind these numbers aren't factoring his training dues, travel tax, etc.
It's a stupid logic that won't get anywhere, everyone can lose, especially in mma, it's just a statistical game. Obviously i am not talking about fighters ducking fights that make sense rankwise.I'd put Francis in that category too. No title fights are promised. If your'e a bad ass, just take what fights they give you. At the very least you can fight out your contract , make money then become a free agent and go somewhere else.

Not to mention talent-less nerds that react to content that isn't theirs or stream gaming. Some of these people can make a living doing this low hanging fruit type content.
Imagine having the smallest bit of UFC clout. You could do your own training vlogs, react content etc. So much money just waiting to made. I'm planning to start my own channel around tech. I already have a growing IG page with my art work. And I'm a 9-5 nobody. Someone like Jessy Jess claiming to be broke, just blows my mind. Save you money and leverage your fame ffs.
He did, said he’s probably gonna buy a lincoln continental, have an amazing Xmas and get his coaches good gifts.
He did get the bonus, so TS should update to $600K
I believe he got performance of the night bonus
