What kind of tests do these athletic commissions run to clear fighters? A CT scan or an MRI will show a brain aneurysm. Especially one that is big enough and ready to burst.

Why am I even going on about this, these are the same commissions that allow Kevin Lee to fight with ridiculous abnormal vital signs and a staph infection that even Bro-science Joe Rogan was able to diagnose. LOL
 
MAN those brain aneurysms are fucking scary. Just out of nowhere and you're gone. And she had two kids too. Fucking tragic. RIP Katy and condolences to her family.

same with an 19 year old kid i went to highschool. super athletic and all so sad.
 
It's not necessarily related but we all know fighters don't really live the lives of abundance like any other athletes...stress and depression can lead to brain aneurysms too...and a fighter's life can be very stressful.

Dude I've made a comment about religion on a karate forum. I didn't say anything about the person in question. It might not be the most appropriate time but don't act like I laughed or mocked the horrible situation that woman is in. Are we done now? I even apologized ffs.

these aneurysms and PVT blood clot can kill people out of nowhere but at least the pvt gives you some signs but it can kill you almost immediately at random.
