Tim Walz is not a great leader nor a hero. He and Harris have already made my life miserable. No need to get back to you in 4 years. Donald Trump will be the next President. Let us see how well Harris does when she debates Trump. If she debates Trump. She will burn and crash like Biden did. I think Robert F. Kennedy Jr. would be a great candidate if he ran on the Democratic ticket.

Allowing it to happen knowing the consequences is the same as being ok with it, functionally. I honestly believe you have some depth of feeling about it, but you're a minority compared to those I've had this conversation with in other areas. Most seem almost gleeful at the prospect of being proven right, and wholly dismissive of the destruction that would follow. Some even openly stating they're ok with the US burning because the US deserves it.

A lot of this stuff is just typical sperging from Nostracuckass. But, I feel the need to clear some of the misinformation for the people interested in an actual discussion.
For starters, "duh the tax cuts", the tax cuts are great and here is the kicker, Biden maintained those tax cuts for the most part. The difference is that he made sure that the uber wealthy were more accountable and the common man was not getting fucked over by them. To put this in further context, Trump's 2017 tax cuts lead to:
"Households with incomes in the top 1 percent will receive an average tax cut of more than $60,000 in 2025, compared to an average tax cut of less than $500 for households in the bottom 60 percent, according to the Tax Policy Center (TPC).". If you want to play the COVID Card and explain thats the reason for variation then you must apply that condition to inflation which has trampled the rest of the world because of its aftermath. Even if you want to look at things in a sequenced state to state basis, blue states dwarf red states in average merits of education, minimum wage and having a unified family unit.
The MAGA complaints about "spending tax dollars" on the foreign wars is comical. Considering that Trump has bitched and moaned about how we are not doing enough to help for Israel. Here is a link to Andrew Schulz explaining it in simple terms about how most of that money is implemented into US corporations. Furthemore, it is a good investment because it creates American Jobs and we are able to use that pint of our military budget to wear down Russia which has the United States greenlit as an enemy. On the other hand, Trump wants to send our troops into Mexico to pull off Fast and Furious stunts which is hysterical to put it lightly. He also persisted in wasting our troops in Afghanistan and utility despite promising to pull us out of there.
