Sorry but I don’t find you a serious person at all and end wokeness tweets is not very reputable (especially as far as replacing the Minnesota flag for a Somali resembling flag)
You don't find a video evidence of him replacing the flag and a news story from New York times legit?

You should not be allowed to vote..

Let's be honest here, those tampons in the boy's restroom are absolutely about trans kids. Not that I care that much either way, we're talking about a relatively small portion of the student body and all in all I think its quite a peripheral issue that only matters to terminally online loons. But they were not put there in case the girls restroom gets overcrowded.

Don't really care if they did it because of trans kids or not. Just saying that it doesn't only effect trans kids. Trans kids are definitely not a thing where I grew up and there are very legitimate reasons that both restrooms should have tampons.

Mark Kelly? Interesting pick, I wonder who he endorsed in this election?

Sorry...and? Because I think he'd be a solid choice as prez, that means I also have to believe the person he endorses (which as we obviously know can be due to a huge amount of factors such as party loyalty, his own career, etc) is suitable? That's what you're gonna go with here? Even you know how weak that is.

See, I am anti-death penalty. I believe we need some sort of social safety net. I think common sense gun laws make sense as long as they don't infringe on the intent of the 2nd Amendment. There are all sorts of issues where my position would fall more on the left than the right. (Or at least would never be considered "right wing".) Do I lean right? Sure. But that's not being a "right winger".

And because I lean right, yeah I'm gonna take an opposing stance to someone like you more often than not. But you using that tendency to try to pigeonhole me into something I'm not only makes you look dumb or bitter or both. And you aren't dumb. And I hope not bitter either.

What the fuck are you talking about 🤣🤣🤣

This was 15+ years ago and nobody gave a fuck lol.

Are any of you guys actually from rural areas? I'm genuinely curious. You live in a place where I grew up and you will understand that plumbing is fucking trash almost everywhere you go and it's probably 50/50 on whether one of the bathrooms will be out at any given time.

That's true for schools, business, etc

Hell, even in my office building in the "big city" I live in now...the women's bathroom constantly has plumbing issues and we share restrooms when that happens.

This is the weirdest fucking shit.

Like, have you people ever spoke to a woman?

What the fuck are you talking about.

You went to a rural school and they had boys and girls sharing the same bathroom at the same time. Read,, at the same time.

Where the fuck did you grow up? Afghanistan? lol...

I grew up in rural Colorado until high school and didn't have these issues.

Fucking hilarious seeing dopes like you being forced to defend the shit far left policies of these two

You sound like complete clowns

The dude who's trying to turn "mind your own damn business" into a catch phrase is the same bag of shit who set up a snitch hotline to rat out anybody not obeying his lockdowns.

wish i would have known about that. this dudes a hero. i don't know about you but i got tired of having to call 911 emergency every time i seen some plague rat ignoring the directional arrows and walking the wrong way down grocery store aisles.

Yes, and nobody cared.

The world didn't end.

What is your point?

If you support Walz, you still are. This guy is a socialist. But if you are too, I see you liking the pick.

Obviously anyone who served in the military is a socialist (most don't realize it). They've worked for the government in a socialized institution pulling a paycheck from our tax dollars.

And of course any public school teacher is a socialist. They've worked for the government in a socialized institution pulling a paycheck from our tax dollars.

And Tim Walz was both, but that's not all that uncommon.

Now... for me, I finished my education in a private school, my kids have only attended private school, and I've only ever worked in the private sector, so I don't know that I have the same bona fides as a cop, firefighter, school teacher, mail carrier to call myself a socialist.

But I do think the totally common existence of socialized institutions like this in our society speaks to the fact that most Americans believe in a hybrid system. Then it's just a question of where the line is.

For my part I am happy to trade tax dollars for important services especially when either the private sector has failed or the government is better equipped to handle it than the private sector. Even more so when it directly helps my community.

I guess Tim Walz is basically a centrist too since he got an A rating from the NRA. So am I since I support school choice, gun rights, deregulating zoning laws, and pro-market policies generally while I'm against rent control, subsidized housing, teacher's unions, and assault weapons bans. I'm probably more right wing that you are if anything!

Eastern Kentucky lol.

My county wasn't as bad as a lot of places, but the county right next to mine is literally one of the poorest counties in the entire country.

For a frame of reference, my father is in his mid 60s, he started off going to school in a one room schoolhouse lol.

My town has less than 1000 citizens. Most of the town is essentially demolished now. Due to flooding and the coal mining industry dying a painful death.

I’ve never seen you argue anything close to this

What about this new design bothers you?

You've never seen me argue for deregulating zoning laws? I've argued that with you!

not just schools and businesses. i got drunk and ate subway last night and absolutely destroyed my bathroom this morning. going by the putrid stench of my grog bog, i have to figure that sandwich must have been dead for weeks.

had to flush 3 god damn times. it was probably 50/50 on whether or not my toilet was going to kill itself. it hates me for that i'm sure.

Everything else
Well you have a history of misunderstanding(I would say misrepresenting) my views so I am not surprised that you're unaware of what my actual beliefs are. And just because you haven't seen me do something doesn't mean I don't do it. I'm sure you haven't seen me taking a piss but that doesn't mean I don't have to answer the call of nature from time to time.

Beyond that you're basically making my point for me. Just because I can list off some beliefs that align with this or that side doesn't mean much if I don't actually prioritize them. That's the centrist game folks like you play, make some perfunctory nod towards certain beliefs while relentlessly carrying water for the right. If anything I am probably more balanced than either of you but I am not going to pretend that in the context of US national politics I don't typically lean left.

IDK, maybe to someone who's a single issue person (gun control) Walz is a raging conservative? I think you seem to feel the need to focus on labels a lot. "Right winger" "left winger" "centrist" etc. I will use the labels in response to posts like the one I originally replied to for the sake of clarification but I'm not nearly as invested in these labels as you are evidently. I look at an issue and give my view. Where it falls on the political or ideological spectrum just doesn't concern me that much.

And yeah in SOME areas you quite obviously ARE farther right than me. Is that some sort of problem for you? Shouldn't be. It's your views and who that "aligns" you with should be less important than you staying true to what you think is right.

He had is "A rating" nearly 20 years ago, and said himself he gets "straight Fs" now.

Dude was relatively centrist in congress, and swung waaaay to the left when he started taking all his policy ideas from his teenage daughter getting them from social media and tik tok.

“I got an A rating from the NRA my first term in Congress. Now I get straight F’s."

I get annoyed at the way some, like you, use such labels because it comes off as obfuscating and misleading rather than clarifying. The result is to shift the Overton window to the right by normalizing right wing beliefs as "centrist" so that even relatively moderate left wing beliefs get labeled as "far left"

I don't know that its consciously done for that purpose but that is the effect.
And yeah in SOME areas you quite obviously ARE farther right than me. Is that some sort of problem for you? Shouldn't be. It's your views and who that "aligns" you with should be less important than you staying true to what you think is right.
Not a problem for me at all, I am happy to push back against left wingers when they argue for bad policies like rent control and subsidized housing. I don't think the average "centrist" really pushes back against the right anywhere near as much as they do the left which is why more often than not someone who calls themselves "centrist" is really just a right winger.

Trump is a radical and at this point I'd say the Republican party is in general
Where do you people get your news from? If you actually looked at policies you would see who the real radicals are. SMH
