Elections Kamala Harris for POTUS

here kyle breaks down trumps new LIE about being totally responsible for 35 dollar insulin and stating that Biden is lying when he takes credit.

Biden got all of part B and part D down the 35$... trump only got a limited subset down to that level. trump is lying again.

This is the most absurd position I’ve ever seen in my life.

@Islam Imamate THIS is the danger and tbh this is the kind of stuff that could make me vote Trump.

Well tbh I expected you to vote Trump either way but setting that aside its normal for there to be big, nonsensical promises to the base before moderating once in office. Trump is advocating for 20% tariffs IIRC and that would be a disaster and its not even among his most outlandish election promises(i.e. Muslim ban).

They might as well just make it a 100% tax on everything and stop beating about the bush.

I wasn’t ever planning on it.

If this passes, it dramatically impacts me and my families ability to succeed.

Internally Kamala admits this race is far from over and they have extremely difficult road ahead already Jeff Bezoes owned "The Washington Post" slammed Harris's price control policies to limit price fixing between companies. Saying it will fail as it will cause inflation on the bread and butter items and be bad for the economy "Remember Jeff Bezoes has more then a slight bit of influence. Kamala campaign is going to provide a breakdown of the costs of each item and the profit made on them. Reason is to put numbers in front of the public.
Rhetorical but Didn’t Bezos company by Whole Foods?

I’ve said it ITT but something like:

0% up to $200,000
15% up to $500,000
20% up to $1,000,000
Increments of +5% for every $5,000,000 up from there. I’d be open to 40% cap but certainly not for that income range.
my list would increase faster but I agree that 46% is a pretty rough. I likes somebody's suggestion in a thread recently that we could effectively not tax the middle class if we set proper capital gains taxes. ( I have NO IDEA if it could really be done though).

I have no problem taking more from people who already have more than they will ever need and I think its not healthy for people to gain so much wealth that they have power over society. not to mention that as a sincere christian who really believes and understands what Jesus was saying--- wealth is VERY dangerous for a person's soul.
