I agree with that. Up to a certain point, but the problem comes when you have more than you will ever need and then you become aware that somebody is starving to death or somebody is dying because of a lack of medical care and when that happens and you have more than you will ever need, it is now your fault.
There is no doubt that seeking after wealth with a lot of one's time and energy is the great danger of wealth because then you can't focus on growing in love but the other danger I just mentioned is also a big part of it.
But it's also true that many of us have more money than we will really ever need. And there's people starving in other countries. So I wouldn't want to get too judgy on a rich person necessarily, but just quoting Jesus here.
