He's been on Logan Paul, Theo Von, and now Lex Friedman.

I don't know why the Harris team isn't scheduling Walz or Harris to go on these podcasts.

Theo Von had Bernie Sanders on the week before Trump. I think Walz would 100% be able to win over him and a lot of his audience.

Plus, it would be a great chance to go on these shows after Trump in order to fact check what he said.

In big part this is because they of all the election interference that did go on. So even if they don't understand the details, they agree with the sentiment of what Trump did. Nobody likes stolen elections.

Not sure. I assume that they have people who are working on the best use of their time. Seems likely to be that more exposure would be helpful, assuming a close race (if their internals show a big lead, they probably would want to play it safe).

Yeah, that's what I assume too. I'm sure basically every hour between now and Nov. 5 is scheduled, and maybe they don't think a podcast is how to reach battle ground state swing voters most efficiently. Part of me worries that they are just ceding the space to Trump for no reason, though.

I saw bits of it. Not really a big Theo Von fan in general. I'd say most of those podcasts are set up to be softball interviews, otherwise Trump wouldn't agree to them.

I don't think Harris has strong enough creative independent thought or wit to hang with some of these podcasters, especially if she's pressed or gets any pushback on her positions. She may mean well, but communication is a weakness of her's. But like @Barteh said, most podcasts are lobbing softballs at their guests regardless of their political affiliation.

Walz is the one for the podcast game.

For the most part no but every once in a while you run into someone who seems to be aware of the details and has talking points ready to defend it. For example one talking point from Trumpers in defense of the elector plot is that in the Kennedy-Nixon election Hawaii issued two slates of electors because the recount wouldn't be done in time and the race was so close. Of course its a false equivalency because the race was in doubt and was close and the alternate slate of electors were officially certified unlike Trump's fraudulent electors. Someone who knows that talking point is deeper down the rabbithole though.

I’d be shocked if JVS was into the Nelk Verse. Most of those guys are affiliated with Dana so they are connected to Trump in that way.
