When people say that America was better under Trump, I truly don’t know of its delusion or amnesia.
The only possible good thing was that he was able to coast for a couple of years on the economy that *we* built.

His administration had more corruption, scandal, and turnover than any other administration in history. They slashed clean air and water regulations, carved up protected land, gave out massive tax cuts for the wealthy, shut down the government twice, made life harder for minorities, crippled our farmers with his tariffs and taxpayers had to bail them out, capitulated to dictators and alienated our allies, failed on infrastructure, failed on healthcare, and bungled the pandemic response.

And all of that was before he engaged in a multi-state fake elector felony scheme, incited an insurrection, and purposely stole boxes of classified comments, hid them, and lied about them.
I mean, holy fuck. The guy was an absolute failure as POTUS, a national disgrace.

The thing is that Trump supporters are either completely unaware of the elector scheme or they supported it because it allowed Trump to keep Democrats out of power. They have no respect for the institutions and norms of the Republic, all that matters to them is power and Trump is their vehicle to acheive it.
