Social Justin Trudeau announces resignation

I am also a little confused...As an American, if a President stepped down and resigned, this would be blockbuster news. I had to jump around on XM to even hear about it. Was he that hated no one cares? This is a huge story imo. Liberal leadership is failing and falling because of it. The world is changing, I am not saying for bad or good because only the future knows that. I guess it could at least stop the senseless and disastrous mass exoduses of migrants. All you do is make another country worse while weakening the origin country. Unless you do what Venezuela did and just empty your prisons and mental wards. That was brilliant on their part.

With parliament now shut down we cannot draft legislation. Not only that the Liberals had no intention of doing anything to fix the border and there is multiple reasons for that. One being that Trudeau will oppose Trump no matter what, if you thought TDS was bad in the US, these guys suffer from it far worse. They attack all of their opponents as being the next Trump. Two Canada has been experience massive illegal immigration during Trudeau but all by design. They changed border policy in order to facilitate it and now that they have been forced to admit that the immigration system has gotten out of control and is devasting the housing market they decided to pause immigration. The thing is that they are only addressing legal immigration. They are actually doing all they can do to increase illegal immigration because it doesn't show up on the books. The Liberal government would consider securing the border as a huge loss and not a win by any stretch.

What a silly argument for joining the USA, I won't be paying the tariff because I don't export to the U.S.

But I pay 25% extra on milk because Canada puts tariffs on American milk to protect Quebec dairy farmers.

The extra cost from tariffs are borne on both sides of the border, no matter who starts them.

But I'd rather have tariffs than income tax (first plank of the Communist Manifesto); would you yanks elect a member of the Paul family already?
