This is what happens with a lot of Danish baby back ribs. The pigs are fed a diet that is high in fish waste over there and then they are processed and shipped over to the states. I worked in a restaurant years ago and our big hit was our baby back ribs. When you defrosted them, they smelled like fish and sometimes they would even taste like fish. We got good at hiding the smell and taste with seasoning, soaking the ribs, and slathering them in BBQ sauce.Chickens were fed with fish powder. Also what @TheNinja said.
