i am in my first week of the CD's... i highly recommend them to anyone wanting to get in shape... its entertaining as hell to have bas talking to you during your rest periods... its like having a coach there with you for sure. PS support the man, buy the cd;s... dont friggen download them.

Those CDs are a very humbling experience. People stare at me funnily sometimes when they hear Bas' accent coming through the speakers in the gym studio. Yuppies at my gym aren't used to seeing that sort of thing, I guess.

DEFENSE!

Don't know if this has been brought up. (if it has feel free to beat me....I like that stuff....)

BUT

for us southpaws or to those of us who like adding different strikes into our training/ programming.......

MAKE YOUR OWN CD'S!!!!!!

1. go download audicity.....I believe it is a recording program that is legal to download and very easy to use.

2. spend the next week on your 'down time' collecting YOUR most USEFUL combos and 'tricks'.
---------------add (what I call) five second furies...... just don't stop for five seconds....and right back into combos...

Don't be afraid to leave time for head movement, feints.......

3. make the length of the rounds gradually longer.....or shorter.....depending on your goals....intensity, wind, blah, blah, blah. Make some rounds more leg dominant than others or vs/ versa.

4. Follow previous instruction to adding your own soundtrack

5. make your own all around workout.

6. add 2-3 hours of sleep per night and don't be afraid of naps.

7. repeat process every week or month depending on circumstances.

love,

John

welp, your original post basically said "f*ck Bas' CDs, make your own for FREE bro!!!!!", that doesn't really relate to this particular thread.

If you want to help contribute conditioning tips with a homemeade CD, than just start your own thread! Like everyone else in the HW forum!

anybody know if i can get this shit on wax? i'm a dj...

you can always get the digital format and scratch with that...some of his between round "advice" is pretty cool for that shit...

...as far as mixing music into it...it's been posted in this thread before, but it's pretty easy to lay out a Bas track over motivational-music-of choice, and even edit the hell out of it so the music ends with each round (like I did), but honestly, after a while you get sick of hearing the same song during the same round...

...over and over again everytime you do 3 min. rds. on the Muay Thai CD, for example.

After reading this thread i wanted to get in on this action.

Just scored the CD set off ebay for

These CD's are the best. I almost collapsed when I started, but you improve very quickly. Adding in the extra kicks or knees after a combo really adds up after awhile. I have tried alot of different workouts, but I have to say this one is the best I have ever done.

How do they compare to Ross' full throttle conditioning dvd?

Ross's is quite a bit cheaper isn't it? And you know it will be quality

I'd heard about these a little before, but this thread convinced me to order. Should be arriving tomorrow according to the online tracking. I'm looking forward to checking them out even though I just had shoulder surgery and I won't be able to do them for a while.
