I wouuld have to be in great shape to use these as a warmup. I am spent by the time I get done.

^Why is your name whitemike? Did you get that from a videogame? I bought a game recently and there was a guy named White Mike.

Anyways, when Bas says something like "2 and a 3", do I do 2-kick-3-kick or 2-3-kick?

I don't think it matters, just wondering wht you guys do.

I do 2-3-kick...the sequence comes out faster and IMO flows better...turns into a 6-hit combo, and is applicable when sparring

Next to a garage heavy bag, Bas' CDs are the best investment you can make for fight conditioning.

Do you guys think Bas uses his tapes?

Yes. He made them a long time ago for him to get in shape and practice the combos. Than other fighters he trained with wanted them. In the book that comes with them, he says he finishes his fight training doing rounds of his workout on thai pads.

It's great for if you ever have to be in a hotel for an extended period. I've had to do this quite a few times. I felt kinda bad for the people in the room under me with all of the jumping squats and what not... Lucky for them I'm only 150lbs though. :icon_chee

Anyone know anything about the the new mma workout dvd, " The Pit "? I don't know if that could be better than Bas's, but I wouldn't think so.
