JURASSIC WORLD v.2 (Dragonlord's Review)

Saw it in Imax as well, looked amazing. caught the 9:30 AM show and theater was completely filled and the ticket line was out the door.

7/10 pretty much what I expected it to be. I'd say better than 3 and probably tied with 2.

Trex vs IRex was awesome, I wish it would of been in daytime though, could barely even see the Trex in the little screen time he had.

Dialogue was very cringe worthy for most of the movie.

I'm gonna assume that there is a hotel for the guests on the island, so why did they have everybody bunched up outside? If I heard that there were some dinos loose, I would head straight for my hotel room.

Is it just me, or did they use the main theme song in the weirdest parts of the movie? It wasnt used at all when anything epic was happening. It was like they knew it needed to be part of the movie, but they didnt know where to put it so they just threw it in random places. Usually the JP theme gives me the chills whenever I hear it, but not in this movie.

Vincent Donofrio's character was my least favorite part of the movie. Just your typical military movie baddie.

Bryce Dallas Howard would get it

I hate Vincent Donofrio. I felt all his scenes are cringe worthy.
From Law and Order to Daredevil to JW. He's always movies his fingers.

MCD was a better Kingpin. Come at me bro.

He didn't look that tall as I expected in Jurassic world? Did Pratt wear lifters or something?

I haven't seen this posted anywhere so I had to create one:

I just watched it, it was pretty awesome.

CG looked really clean, alot of really exciting parts to the movie. The park itself was really awesome, wish it was real.

Chris Pratt was pretty cool in the movie, and Bryce Dallas is pretty damn beautiful.
- Raptors were pretty awesome

- D-rex was pretty damn awesome

- Trex was still awesome

- Fuckin giant sea dino was fucking awesome

- Damn asian doctor got away! That sneaky bastard

Movie was kind of meh until the ending. The ending was great.

Fiendish Dr. Wu!!!!!

The CGI was kinda meh in my opinion. From the opening scene with the eggs to the t-rex, the original was much better done.

All the magic of the first JP was recaptured. I felt just as giddy as the younger brother character running around.

Yes the acting was sub par, but COMEON. DINOSAURS!

I give it a 9, thought it was great, zero complaints. I was a little skeptical going in, wasn't sure of the hybrid and How Andy from parks n rec would be, I left very happy

Fiendish Dr. Wu!!!!!

I ponder onto a yt video yesterday, apparently Dr Wu had a cameo in the first film. He is probably the most experienced employee for this Park. The video is 10min+ long and the only interesting fact was that so I'm not going to link it here. But if requested, I would.

tbf, he only followed orders from the indian billionaire guy, but saying fiendish dr wu is really fun to say so...

Fiendish Dr. Wu!!!

JP is my all time favorite movie and while JW did not have the charm, tightness, laughs and in no way the character connection....it was really fun. Plus the dinosaurs were the stars, as they should be...Also, it was much scarier than the previous 3.

7.5/10 - see it in IMAX

Entertaining film.

Well said. JP was one of those special type of movies that captured your imagination and that kind of movie magic is nearly impossible to recreate as an adult (GoTG came pretty damn close though). I knew that going on so I didn't expect it and just was looking to be entertined. Still got some nostalgia feels though. Pratt crushed it. Loved his character and this confirms his status as one of the top movie stars of today. 8.5/10.

5/10 The helicopter must have been a model because it didn't look real at all. The water dino eating the great white that was seen in the trailers was the best part for me. Was looking forward to this but I am pretty disappointed. The acting was cringe-worthy and I could have cared less if any of them would have been eaten.

I usually agree with DragonLords reviews but I think a 6.5 is a little bit low (at least on this scale).

I really enjoyed it. I was skeptical of Chris Pratt playing this role, but he did a good job. The CGI was great. There was a bit of cheesiness in the film but not enough to really detract from it.

The velociraptors were pretty cool and I don't think they overdid it with the whole taming thing although it was a little bit cheesy at times. I thought the pterodactyls were pretty cool and the sea dinosaur thing was monstrous.

The movie felt a bit more cliche compared to Jurrasic Park, but it was still fun. Definitely had a different tone than the first movie but it felt like a worthy sequel. The characters were pretty meh but None were really detracting from the film. It's a movie I'd watch again

i lold when that one raptor got blown the fuck up. He looked up and stared at Owen for a second and people were thinking "omg he's reconsidering" then BOOM blown the fuck up

6.5? You're tripping bro. The movie is pretty decent and was hella entertaining (for what it was). I really enjoyed Chris Pratts part in the movie and the dinosaurs were fun! It lagged a bit in the beginning and I think Chris Pratt should of been introduced much earlier doing dino stuff.

I don't know thought. I might be being biased because I really love Jurassic Park!!! =D

Solid 8!

Good popcorn flick. Not that good of a movie, but I was entertained for the most part. Just think of it as a monster movie with weak characters mixed with cheese, and you shouldn't be too disappointed.
