Just not feeling it. Bryce Dallas Howard also does absolutely nothing for me, acting-wise, or looks-wise. I'm worried this is going to feel like a tired retread. :icon_conf

It's not an obscure indie movie or comic book super hero movie so it's gonna suck.
 
looks pretty bad. 2 hours of cliches, chases, explosions and over the top action, with a poor plot and complete lack of good dialogue. sometimes less is more with action scenes, Tarantino gets it.
 
The first teaser trailer had me totally stoked on it, but the more I see of the movie, the less excited I get.

I'm gonna see it no matter what, though. Just because rumor has it the first Warcraft movie trailer will be shown before it.

Yes. It's pretty fucking stupid. What's worse, when Pratt runs into the cage to save the guy, if you listen to his voice, he's got that Starlord "half serious, half joking, smartass" tone. I hate that. I guess some comedic actors can't go full serious.

Has the novelty of regular zoo animals worn off yet? If you have to use that sentence in any time period, the human race may just be fucked.

Idk i mean if you think about it humans have trained all kinds of animals, its not like raptors would be more viscous or wild than any other animals. think of those dipshits who train tigers in the circus. It would be doable... Im not sure what a velociraptors animal counterpart is in the intellectual department though.

I haven't been to a zoo in over 30 years. Also Jurassic World would probably cost more than going to your local zoo as well. It would be more a kin to going to Disneyland, and Disneyland is always adding new attractions and Cedar Point is always adding bigger, taller, faster roller coasters because the old ones lose their luster/drawing power.
