JURASSIC WORLD v.2 (Dragonlord's Review)

2 somewhat minor complaints:

1. the kids kinda sucked overall, maybe the fault of the writing of their particular storyline, moreso than them.

2. (spoiler) when Bryce uses a flare to lure the T-Rex into the fight, Pratt should have seen her do that, and then said "... Clever girl." That would have been fkn epic.
I was really hoping one of the kids would say "must go faster. Must go faster." When the raptor was chasing them in the rig.

With the plot, cringey dialogue, acting and the dinosaurs themselves. Movie seemed like it was really aimed for kids. Especially with starlord in it.

anyone else noticed she wore heels throughout the jungle, chases, and running away from T-rex

Yeah I swear I saw her without the heels running(which I'm sure happened during filming) and I was like "Clever Girl" but the next scene she was still wearing them.

Yeah, I mean, it clearly is. I'm kinda beffudled that people ask for more "grim" elements - when clearly the entire point of the movie was something for kids to enjoy, and adults to feel nostalgic about.

Rated it very bad. Mindless plot, terrible dialogue, incredibly cheesy ending. And someone's got to make a 'Blackfish' documentary on keeping that 500 foot Mosasaurus in tiny living quarters. How cruel.

Was very bad imo. Over 20 years after the first movie and i was just hoping for a lot more. Sad face.

i liked everything about it

i wish jurassic world was a real place

Saw it this morning. I really liked it for the most part...the kids were atrocious and there were some cheesy scenes for sure...plus half the movie was a Mercedes commercial with a new pristine Mercedes rolling up every 5 minutes which got old, but really fun to watch for the most part.

7/10

there were also at LEAST 4 or 5 good chances to throw in a "must go faster...must go faster!" throwback. Missed opportunities!

I'm not spending $50 on this. I don't think. *sigh* I'll just wait and waste it on T5

Someone told me Chris Pratts character is the fat kid from Jurassic park 1 during that beginning scene.

The kid who says they look like chickens and than is shown the raptor talon.

True or false

100 million weekend box office used to be the benchmark for greatness. This is ridiculous.

Saw the 10am showing today.

The movie was all kinds of awesome, i enjoyed it a lot.

Man, when the...

OG T-rex came out, i was like

Community creator Dan Harmon was the first I think to mention the theory on his podcast. Then it snowballed in Reddit.

Director Colin Trevorrow commented on the theory:

"I'm not sure I want to answer because the speculation is so much fun. Let's not kill the fun."

The actor that played the kid in Jurassic Park tweeted:

The guy reminds me of actor Patrick Fischler (Lost, Mad Men, Mulholland Drive) if he got into a car accident and mauled by a bear afterwards.
