JRE podcast is in decline ?

Shit has been going downhill for the last 8+ years and really hit rock bottom with Rogan going all in on MAGA. I remember when he had scientists on to debate the efficacy of vaccines, and one of the doctors said what Rogan was doing was incredible work by promoting vaccines to eliminate diseases. Now, Rogan is on that MAGA dick, and vaccines make us retarded and can't be trusted. Like Bill Burr taking the Saudi money and trying to spin it with some bullshit after saying billionaires are bad for the last 20 years. I think Fallon Fox was the real turning point. I saw where he just started to hate transgender people, and then the COVID shit storm. It's crazy to get older and watch your heroes fall. They are just proving their opinions and platforms can be bought; people like that can't be trusted, in my opinion.

Joe's inept and naive. A useful idiot, but not malicious I don't think. Just too rich to be relatable or regular anymore.

There was always gonna be a limit to the endless amount of 3hr conversations ft. guests the likes of Terrence Howard, Tom Papas or the CIA guy that people will keep tuning in for

The format is inherently guaranteed to plateau eventually

My buddy had a heart attack after the moderna Vax. Soon after, the moderna vax was withdrawn for young men.
The Professor for cardiology of the hospital saw him when he was stabilized. The first question he asked my buddy was : what vaccine did you get? Not do you drink, take drugs, have stress etc. When buddy amswered Moderna, the Professor said "no wonder you are here"
 
It's bound to happen, like that saying "What goes up, must comedown." And you can't stay on top for super long periods of time I guess. You're bound to decline in popularity. There is so much podcasts now, you have to really be selective in what you watch.
 
Well, as far as his Youtube numbers go, it makes sense. The guy went exclusive to Spotify for a while. You're not gonna magically get your pre-Spotify numbers back, when you start uploading again. He's also split his audience among platforms as well. Some watch here, some watch there.

That said, there will always be peaks and valleys to that industry. There's competition around every corner, and being able to have conversations with people isn't exactly a unique skill.

Funny you guys mention it. Watched the first half of that last night aswell and that was indeed a pretty interesting story and listen. That guy deserves some credit and hope things turned around for him again to the positive side.

Don't listen to JRE as much nowadays. Lack of time and rarely a new guest that gets me really interested + all the comedy folks (Joey Diaz excl) don't do much for me. Fair enough after that long time and episodes that it feels a bit like most stuff has been told and the game has been played through to a certain degree.

Yeah only so many times can one listen to yet another Duncan Trussell interview(who likes to listen to even one of his Trussell’s!) and still want to listen to the next guest? Only so many hours in a day.

He really should go back to getting more interviews with folks like Mr. Kiriakou and others who have actual interesting stories and takes on the world.

Duncan is a treat. Like a palate cleanser. He's only there like 2x a year max.
 
I could never get into his show. He would have comedians delivering hilarious jokes and they would all go over his head. For a "stand up" with his own comedy club you would think he would have any sort of clue when gold was being dropped in front of him.

Instead he would laugh at the stuff that morons like Brendan Schaub or Bert Kreischer would say on his show. Rogan is a hack.

I am confused as to what "at least knows what was going on means" when there are first hand accounts of Trump having pictures with nude very young girls that were in Epstein possession.

Can we agree that both political parties are highly compromised with Clinton and Trump at the forefront. If we care about the victims let's call out everyone no matter the political affiliation. Hollywood and industry leaders are also deeply part of this.

Regarding Joe. He had a great run but at some point there has to be some fatigue doing 3h podcasts often with revisiting guests. It's all said at this point imo. I am surprised hd managed to do it this long.
