JRE podcast is in decline ?

Nothing lasts forever. People want a different guy to listen to now. Joe's podcast is in a slow but steady decline.

It's down because the podcast market is heavily saturated now days and also Joe has ran his course. He's not a great comedian or a great host.

I remember watching a few years back when he had Russell Peters dropping great jokes and all of them went over Joe's head. He did the same thing with Harland Williams.

He was popular because he was first to market and at that time nobody else was interviewing all the sideshows and whack jobs.

i never really found his comedy funny, especially the last 10-15 years. kinda awful actually.

he WAS funny on the podcast when he allowed himself to talk, especially in the beginning, but then he went corporate in the mid 2010s.

I remember watching his special on Spike TV which aired after an Ultimate Fighter finale. It was him attempting to yell like Sam Kinnison doing the bug eyed face without landing any funny jokes. It was bad.

isn't he "funny"?

The Elephant Graveyard videos do a pretty great job explaining exactly why Rogan sucks:

They're also hilarious.

All bangers. The doomsday cult one is magnum opus level. Wonder what his next deep dive will be (if there ever is another one)

what a fuckin run tho

something that costs almost nothing to produce. Insane.
True. Seguras YMH parent podcast project employs so many extra mfers. Joe has saved a fortune with just Jamie and no extras. If he took 3 months off, then came back with Sydney Sweeney or someone like that, it'd probably do really well.

How to manage the natural slide towards over saturation without risking the ruin of a hugely profitable revenue stream....

If he can figure that balance out, there's a world where the JRE can be welcomed back with open arms

I was hoping he'd make one about those jerkoffs who went to Saudi Arabia to be court jesters for the royal family. Unfortunately, he hasn't made a video in about 5 months.

Beige frequency had a pt. 1 where he discusses most of them. Pt. 2 isn't out yet, but it'll likely be about Burr predominately. As a former burr fan who grew tired of him 5 years before this, its been rewarding seeing ppl finally recognize what a cunt he so often is.

EG shouldn't even try to follow up the Joegan saga imo. OG trilogy should stand alone

Joe lost the plot years ago and people are realizing it. Granted, he will never be financially hurting ever again so he wins.
I feel like i just liked what he was selling at 27 y/o way more compared to what I think of his shtick now at 38. It'd be weird if I still just ate it all up with a big grin.

Its not Joe, its me lol

His commentating is another story but that's where it started for me that Joe was starting to become his own biggest fan and acting like his opinion is fact. I feel like there was a brief period before the spotify deal he secured for himself that he knew how many young men in their 20's were really valuing his words and that's fine but he basically got high off his own supply so to speak, and it's been a slow decline since the new deal he got. But again, he's filthy rich and at this point is simply making sure his grand kids and beyond are set.
