I'm not attaching my interpretation to any people's quote unless I say "my opinion". I say "Tom is afraid too" , then I posted his literal quote from the interview saying he is afraid.

My interpretation was my opinion on what I think Tom was instructed to do vs what, to me, is more like how he would rather it to be. He himself said that "online trolls telling him to act certain ways, do call out videos" won't be listened as he "won't be who he isn't" on Ariel's interview the day after Jon Jones vs Stipe Miocic.

The fighter literally stated that very thing (Tom said he was afraid... Period. No interpretation. Fighters are afraid. )

What was interpretation form my part was always specified as such, never said as a fact, i.e, the second part of the post. If you can't separate own perspectives/subjective opinions moments, that were specified as such ("I see that as", "imo") in a post, from what is objective opinions that are also, specified as such (since what I "interpreted" as afraid was the word Tom used, doorknob), then that's a you problem.

Maybe you should learn to read better as you are the only one embarrassing yourself for anyone reading our posts. Maybe by getting better reading skills, you will drop this tough keyboard warrior attitude, that often come from irl softies and losers, and start to post in a more mature and confident way.

You asserted (without any qualifiers like "imo" or "I think") that "Jones wouldn't put himself in this position to be seen as a duck...so he definitely thinks he will beat Tom."

And yes after 6 years in the sport training, fighting, and cornering guys I'm the epitome of a "keyboard warrior". You nailed it Luff!

Trust me sport, I have more ACTUAL confidence than you can probably even comprehend. Writing novellas every 10 minutes doesn't project what you think it does either. Nobody reads your long ass posts and thinks "Now there's a fella with confidence!" LMAO.

Which isn't based on any quote that I attached my interpretation. That's how I see it, I'm see JJ as competitive enough that he wouldn't do it. Same way you say many things from your perspective, I maintain that. That Hass nothing to do with me adding to a quote.

Yeah you are due to the way you speak. Whether you have trained, fought, cornered guys... You act like a keyboard warrior and very likely are.

I'm not confident in the way you think confidence is, because I'm not attached to a narrative, I just want to see what happens, I just want to offer perspectives. You don't seem to have confidence when it comes to arguing, as you post in childish ways. I don't speak about confidence in regards to "let me say it and make 100% clear, sit down you all! ". I say confidence in the sense I don't see the need to become overly emotional due to a sports we all like, unlike you, who posts as if you were there fighting or betting and your life were dependant on it. I post long answers, but most of them aren't rants or bashing some specific athlete. It's a possible view of a situation, a perspective seen from x, y and z lens, etc...

He isnt afraid of Tom, he just knows there is a real risk of getting KOed and he doesnt want to out like that. Even if he thinks he will win, he knows Aspinall is a legitmate, dangerous opponent in a way that current Stipe was not.

He has a lot more to lose than when he fought Rampage or Shogun.
 
Yeah Jon is quite concerned with his legacy. The longer he can postpone it, the longer his living legend status persists.

Make no mistake he IS ducking Aspinall. He's smart enough to know he can't keep this up forever, but arrogant enough to think this somehow ADDS to his legacy. Get in the octagon Jon. I hate that you'll lose as a 38 year old but excited to see you humbled nonetheless.

Unfortunately, JBJ will never be humble, even if he loses a potential fight against Aspinall. If he had any humility left, he had it lost the day he crashed into the pregnant woman and ran off without checking if she was hurt.
If he really loses, he might even talk about Aspinall's luck. He'll never admit that he really lost. And he will probably run out of the cage like Colby did.
Would be really funny but the fight will never happen. Sad for the fans but mostly for Tom.

Well, is he gonna lose though? I don't think so, I think he beats Tom. Even if it's a long winded fight or one in which he ends up beating him kinda easily... I am pretty sure he will smash Tom, yes.

That's a fair opinion. I've never been as impressed with Jon Jones as Joe Rogan has. And at 38 years and counting...he ain't no Randy Couture and even if he was his competition is MUCH steeper than Randy's ever was.

I don't think Jon stands a chance. And I don't think HE does either. Would love to see the fight sooner than later, regardless. The odds seem to favor "later" though.
 
This is not happening. We will see 100 men vs 1 silverback before Jones vs Aspinall
