Jones vs Aspinall WILL happen at MSG in November.

Put your money where your mouth is. Im saying MSG in November what u say? Jones Scared hes afraid? Same thing all the sheeps online that never trained in their life are saying?

Jones wasnt afraid of Rampage or Rumble but yeah hes afraid of Aspinall LOL.

Write down what Im saying: They are fighting at MSG in November. And that card will break record because of the co-main.

UFC is going hard on that november card. Yall gonna see but Jones vs Aspinall is the expect fight. And they both agreed.

Thank me later

Why would anyone thank you for something you'd have no part in putting together?

Jones isn't scared of fighting Tom, he scared of taking a devastating L on international TV. That would be an ego crusher for someone who thinks they are undefeated (objectively false) and bases their entire self worth on it. He has a problem in that like a raccoon, he can't drop the shiny object even knowing that if he continues to hold on to it, he will have to encounter Aspinall. But in his mind that is highly capable of magical thinking, he will continue to stall and hope something happens to avoid the inevitable. The only reason people think they will actually fight at msg is that they are clinging to hope that the fight will still happen and that is the last possible date it could happen. If Jones doesn't sign for that date, Dana will have no choice but to strip him and move on. I personally do not believe the fight will ever happen for a multitude of reasons but one way out that would give him some sort of cover would be to take the fight and then pull out with an injury. He would be stripped at that point but at least he can say he intended to fight him. I won't believe the fight happens until they are standing in the cage.

Well, no, people are thinking MSG because that is the most logical and expected date of the fight. Not only that, it's the event that Jones was booked to fight that last two years in 22 and 23. In addition, if Jon is planning on retiring, fighting at home makes the most sense. So there are plenty of logical reasons why fans think the fight will happen on that card.

It's either going to happen on that card in November or it wont happen at all. At that point, the UFC will just move on from that fight and strip Jon. And we'll know well in advance, cause in order for that to happen, they'll have to have it signed and announced in July/August or September latest.

I am pretty certain we'll have it for MSG.

I could see why Jones would want to end his career at MSG.

(But announce it already, shit. Resuscitate the UFC.)
Sport doesn't sound like its for you, bud. Try women's softball or something

I think we mostly agree but MSG is now the main focus of the fight community because IFW didn't happen. Everyone thought that if it would ever happen, it would be IFW. Now they are clinging to hope that it's MSG because that's the end of the line, it can't be pushed out further than that without some strippage going on.

Jon is trolling everyone just like he did with DC, Chael, and many others. If you think Jones is afraid of Aspinall, then I don’t know what to tell you. Personally, I would have been much more afraid to fight Rampage at 23 years old.

But that’s beside the point...

Right now, Jones is making Aspinall wait on purpose. He asked for six months, and Dana agreed. So now, Jones is out here in Thailand with Nate and some of their camps, and they’re having a great time.

Guys, I know this particular topic is causing a lot of back and forth online, and I know I’ll get bashed for saying this, but please understand—I’m not defending Jon.

This is the way that Jones is pretty much telling Aspinall: You dont hold the cards, your opinion dont mean sh*t. etc...

I just see through the lines. I see a pattern. There is NO WAY he will retire with an open mind knowing people accused him of dodging, regardless of whether he wins or loses.

I know I’m in the minority, but I can’t be the only one seeing this from a mile away. Jones is 100% trolling Aspinall and the fanbase. There is just no way Jones retire out of the blue like that. If you think that you honestly probably havent followed his carreer.
No, I said Jones was never gonna fight Tom when Dana first lied about them fighting. Some of y'all seriously need y'all's brain examined.

You corny little bull dyke. I bet you typed that out with a bud light in your other hand.

It was wishful thinking for IFW, I knew that it wasn't gonna happen. Jon would not fight that soon. I always thought MSG, it's Jon's pattern now 2 years in a row.

I am very optimistic is goes down at MSG. But I gotta say, it's going to be really interesting if it doesn't and what will happen. If Jon doesn't end up taking this fight, I think it will actually haunt him by fans for a very very long time. There have been some duckings over the years, but they were understandable and logical. This one fans wont let go of.

Yeah I predicted too it would most likely be at MSG if it wasn't IFW if this fight is to happen at all.

There's no way they'd be able to hide this if the contract got signed lol. That story would break. Ariel would sniff it out w that nose of his.

Tom Aspinall is afraid af too. He said "I'm not like some guys in mma that hide their fears. If I'm fighting JJ, knowing one of us I likely to be separated from our consciousness and there will be millions of ppl watching, then there will be memes... That's something that will follow me for the rest of my life. When I fight in closed spaces with few ppl watching, I don't care that much because if I get my ass kicked, not many ppl will know. But there is no way someone who's about to fight the best of all times wouldn't feel scared as hell when looking at that person. It's just something very scary and I get more and more scared each fight. "

Tbh I don't blame Tom. I like him. He's someone who's there because he worked hard. When he won bonus for fight of the night, we could see how happy he was to the point he was crying. I don't think he wanted to fight JJ in the sense of "I need to act as if I'm hunting him and he's afraid!!" ... That's likely how he was instructed, but he knows it's not the case, and that if he ends up losing , it'll make him look like a joke for many fans, which is terrible. That's why when the therapiste asked "what can you do to fight JJ, to make JJ fight you", Tom quickly answered "I can't do anything! Like, I can't do anything. It's JJ's choice, he doesn't need to fight me. Like, whenever he wants, wherever he wants, I'll fight him. But I can't do anything. I think money is holding it up, in his part. I think that's it. I think it's because money. On his part! But I don't need this fight, I've said that he has fought many times already and he doesn't need to fight me. "

Like.... Its Not easy for him in this social media environment to be made fun of. I think he ideally wanted JJ to vacate the belt some could have the belt. I don't think he really thinks deep down that he will beat JJ, I think he sees JJ as likely to win. That's my opinion. And JJ said he was up to fight in IFW vs Tom. He signed the deal for IFW. It does not, at all, match what Tom is saying about JJ holding up the fight. That's what the media says. Jon Jones is having fun, is laughing and all because imo, he thinks he can beat Tom and he's in a so high level as a fighter that he doesn't feel insecure to be mocking Tom, and just wants to focus on what matter instead, who wins .... For someone with such an ego as JJ, he would not put himself in a situation he is seen as a duck if he weren't to fight that same guy. In which case, the fact he put himself in this situation, means he thinks he can absolutely beat Tom. Tbh, I don't want to see Tom be made fun of if Tom loses, as much as if JJ loses, it's inevitable he'd be made fun of. But Tom... Idk, he has a lot of talent, is definitely elite, but ppl act like he is so good that even fighting a monster like JJ who's the best ever, is easy for Tom to the point it's be surprising if JJ lasted more than 1 round. That puts such a pressure on Tom, specially when it's against Jon Jones. I mean, Jon Jones....

I just wish that whoever loses, ppl treat them with respect:

Stop taking people's quotes and attaching your own interpretations on them. It's fucking ridiculous and embarrassing for you. You won't stop, we all know this. But you really should.

I used to think this fight would happen, but now I don't so much anymore. It's very telling how Dana reacts when asked about this fight. It seems like UFC has tried to meet Jon's demands but that's still not good enough.

Jon has got some of the worst "boxing" I have ever seen.

He makes up for it with a great kicking and wrestling skillset, but his hands are horrible.
Just doesn't have the aptitude for it. That's why he spent half his career sticking his fingers in guys eye sockets whenever they got too close.
