I'm assuming because Hamill won. So it's the "loss" on Jon's record. That's covering the bases between losses and defeats, since you said they're different. Cuz Jon can apparently lose without being defeated, but if a guy out-beats him in the octagon, it's not a defeat because the judges said it's not a loss.
