Alright. I will show you how to think like a smart person. The UFC has everything to gain by putting on Jones vs Aspinall, that's why Dana is so frantic to get Jon on board. First, they put on a huge HW title fight and rake in money. Second, if Tom wins he is the new Undisputed, beat legend Jon Jones and is carrying the division forward as the baddest man on the planet with instant name recognition. Third, if Jones wins, he is the greatest fighter ever and still under contract. They will then reward him by giving him an easy fight that he wants and he stays in the UFC for another fight or so. Either way, the fight sets the UFC up for even more money in the future, that's why they want it. The last thing they want is Jones to drop the belt and walk into the sunset without passing his shine onto the next champ who is still relatively unknown. I'd still bet that Jones walks away at this point.
