LOL So Mirko couldn't do shit to Fedor in his prime but "Gus would beat him easily"Life and death huh?
Gus beat Shogun 30-27 pn 2 cards and 30-26 on the ofher...but when have facts ever stopped your delusions lol.
Shogun had dominations of Forrest and Vera sandwiched around the Hendo war coming in and was barely 31
And yes, Gus beats Fedor rather easily
Shogun fought baliantly and had a couple moments but was domnated

LOL So Mirko couldn't do shit to Fedor in his prime but "Gus would beat him easily"

Right. Especially the Jones that fought Santos & Reyes.Any version of Bones murders any version of Fedor 10 outta 10
I think Jones would be effective with soccer kicks & knees on the ground though.Jones would be significantly weaker in Pride with a lot less space to move in the ring. Distance and lenght have allways been the biggest assets of Jones, and he would lose a lot of that in smaller square ring. Jones is almost impossible to reach in big octagon, but it would be different ballgame in the ring. Also he would lose elbows which are one of his main weapons.
Someone like Santos just missed him by an inch in the octagon, but would hit Jones in the corner of the ring.
Jones is a lot easier and more beatable in the ring and Pride rules than in UFC cage.
205 Jones would have beat Fedor. Other than power in his hands prime Jones was a superior fighter everywhereSo Jones has beaten one HW (which was matching up horribly with him when considering the styles) and suddently he would be a 9-1 favorit over the greatest HW in history. you never stop learning.
There simply is no way Jones would have taken Reyes or Santos as serious as Fedor and you know it. See iff any other fighter who has shown historically if he doesn’t know a lot about an opponent he doesn’t take take them as seriously you would believe them. If you observe his pattern you would see Gus Santos and Reyes are all fights he was supposed to steamroll and they had no big name. All fights he squealed by in. If you analyze fighters without haters eye you learn moreRight. Especially the Jones that fought Santos & Reyes.
Tell me you’ve been watching MMA (and only the UFC) for less than a decade, without telling me.
Fedor was amazing but he was almost KTFO by a Japanese pro wrestler and almost submitted by a version of Mark Hunt that didn't even train bjj at the time.
Jones would have dismantled him.

Shogun had two reconstructive knee surgeries by the time he fought Gus and 1.5 rounds of cardio. While both men were fresh Shogun had Gus in all sorts of trouble and landed over hand rights on him at will.
Gus had to panic wrestle to win once Shogun was tired. Prime Fedor would have stuffed Gus inside of a Mayonnaise jar. The same Gus who in his next fight beat prime juiced Jones and sent him to the hospital.
Lmaaaoo @ "Gus would easily beat prime Fedor" but had to panic wrestle against double knee surgery Shogun. Forrest had CTE by the time Shogun beat him and retired just one fight later. Vera lost to Shogun then lost to Rothwell and left the UFC and never won a meaningful fight ever again.
Basically what you're alluding to is that double knee surgery Shogun was better than a prime 27 year old Fedor (even though he lost to Forrest) and Gus who had to panic wrestle this version of Shogun was better than prime 27 year old Fedor too. Smh. What a shameless scumbag you are lol
A dishonest, low integrity internet loser and pathetic grifter chump is what you are. Can't imagine what you look like irl.
Gus generally I do not think would do well against HW's with power, his defence was just too weak and he depended on his chin too much, the fight with Rumble is I think suspect how a fight with Fedor or indeed Crocop, Arlovski, Sylvia, Sergei, Aleks, etc would likely go.
He would lose much more with lack of space to move, lack of distance and lack of elbows than he would gain from soccer kicks and knees on the ground. You first have to take someone down, pass his guard and come to dominant position to use them. It is a lot easier to get hit in the corner or on the ropes when you have no space to move.I think Jones would be effective with soccer kicks & knees on the ground though.
Honestly Cormier held more danger in areas Jones probably had to be careful of than Fedor. Fedor never posed the wrestling threat to make Jones reconsider kicksI favor Jones over Fedor but Fedor’s explosiveness, unpredictability and power would be a concern. Cormier had a lot of success against Jones and doesn’t have nearly the power of Fedor. Again, I favor Jones but there is a realistic chance that Fedor flattens him.
Lol yeah one Jones would be aware of and forced to take more serious. If for nothing else for the importance of that fight. Which based on how he approaches fighting he certainly wouldAgree, but there’s also a mountainous difference between Santos/Reyes and Fedor.
Talking of middleweights, wasnt Frodo planked by a career middleweight? Face down ass up?Cool story. Then Jones was almost subbed by a middleweight (Vitor), arguably lost to another middleweight with a blown knee who is 1-4 since (Santos), and arguably lost to another guy who is 0-3 since (Reyes).
These games are boring.
