Jones beats Fedor 9/10 But...

Fedor was amazing but he was almost KTFO by a Japanese pro wrestler and almost submitted by a version of Mark Hunt that didn't even train bjj at the time.

Jones would have dismantled him.
If you're going to call a someone who nearly made the wrestling team in the Olympics a pro wrestler then let's say Jones arguably lost to a college football player.

Low integrity dishonest losers.

Would've been a competitive fight no doubt, I'd probably favour Jones by decision. The Fedor that went toe to toe with Cro Cop and absolutely manhandle the second most dominant HW in the division is a nightmare fight for anybody.

Fedor didn't have the greatest sprawl but he had strong hips and was explosive off his back, lot of Jones best work comes from the clinch where it would be hard to throw around 230lb guy who specialises in judo and sambo.

Although unorthodox, Fedor had the better hands, I can't see Jones would be have the ability to counter Fedors ability to blitz with casting punches and speed but Fedor would have an incredibly hard time getting past that range with his lack of head movement and lateral movement.

The only thing Fedor has on prime Jones I can say definitively is power in his hands. Jones has speed, athleticism, Kicks, Clinch, Leverage, Elusiveness, Spontaneity, Creativity, Better game planner, Better at keeping pace in a long war, I can go on for a very long time but the nostalgia that would have some believe that even 205 especially Bones wouldn’t beat Fedor in all likelihood’s is just not being honest.

A guy who gets dominated this easily by Bigfoot Silva, is not GNPing or Subbing Jones.

I don't know how people can come away saying Fedor is the HW GOAT after seeing him get rag dolled by Bigfoot like this, or sparked out by a MW Dan Henderson. It's mind blowing.

You mean a TRT Bigfoot who outweighed Fedor by 50-60 pounds? lol - That would be like Jose Aldo fighting Chael Sonnen.

Right, the sport has evolved so much that Jon fought for the HW title against a novice grappler. ROFL how silly this idea is.
No matter how far in the future you go there will always be a fighter or two in the top with a suspect ground game. That’s just the nature of the fight game

Fedor is crazy underrated in general so many newer fans missed out his reign of terror in Pride his run at HW was beyond legendary. Yes if they fought 10 times during their primes I would predict Jones would win several times he is all-time great himself however 2002-2005 Fedor is the greatest HW I have ever seen fight to this day most complete fighter with killer instinct crazy explosive with iron will to win.

Another dream matchup we all missed out on both are legendary fighters both are arguably the best fighters of their era.

Big foot silva and Matt Mitrione would KTFO any version of Jones easily.

I'd very strongly disagree with that, I think Fedor in his prime had the best head movement of any HW in history, he did not bob and weave when someone wasnt throwing but thats a good thing against Jones as it opens you up far less to getting caught by a kick(like Cormier) but his ability to slip punches via head/body movement was incredibly good.

Besides that as well he not only had a longer reach than Cormier but he was very explosive with his punchs, you watch the 3rd match with Nog for example and you can see Fedor's throwing range is outside Nogs normal boxing range. If Jones looked to keep him at long range standing I don't think he'd be "safe" and I don't think Fedor would need to chase him the way Cormier had to.
