Even the old untested Fedor from Pride would lose 9 out of 10 to Jones.

No knock on Fedor, he was the best in the world at the time but the sport has evolved so much since then.

Fedor played the risks to be aggressive,
didn't study challenges the way Jon's coaching does.
Jon's advantage was coaching.
Fedor's was heavy engagement.

It is difficult to see why one is better than the other,
in a ONE on ONE sense (without a coach).

This isn't a knock on jones (he is still a dipshit liar & a fake),
just an observation regardless of weightclass, champion, or challenges.
Jon does a lot more backing up, game planning, and listening to coaching
than Fedor did.

Gus did not go life and and death with Shogun, that's just not true. Gus won every round, and was never in any trouble besides the kneebar attempt, which Gus got out of.
