JON JONES VIDEO RESPONSE TO YOU HATERS

You can't take away anything from Jones for being an above par fighter, however as him being a decent human being you certainly can.

I must have missed something because I have read some of these posts and haven't found anything stating that he just forgot his wallet.
But if I recently had a few DUI charges and on top of that a hit and run, the last thing I would do is leave my wallet behind if I'm going out for a drive.

Great fighter...but complete scum on a level of morale.

As a paralegal I can tell you right now that a ticket for not driving with your license is a scam. Police, at least here in Florida, can easily look up whether you have a valid license from the computers in Police cars. So yes, generally speaking you should be able to drive without a license; but of course, i'm sure there are scenarios that would make it necessary.

If i am wrong i'd like a police officer sherdogger to actually tell me so. I would appreciate it, seriously.

He's a young, high level athlete who is one of the best to ever compete, I'll give him some leeway on fuck-ups. Hopefully he keeps things in check from here on out.

I guarantee at least some of the people being ultra judgy have driven after drinking (including buzzed / drunk), driven high, allowed other people to, and / or done coke or experimented with other drugs before.

Edit: Oh, something is going on with his license. I was not aware of this, haha. Well, my point stands: I'm sure some of the people up in arms over his behavior have done worse.

He drove without a license, insurance and vehicle registration according to the article on the front page. Is it that he failed to produce those documents when stopped or that he lacked some/all of them?

I think he's saying stop busting his balls over trivial minor traffic violations that happen to people all the time. It's a minor violation.

Have you ever hit another car and while the other person was trying to realize what just happened you went ahead and flee the scene?? This dude has serious issues sir. I don't know if he is stupid or he just don't give a fuck. The guy is on probation for doing what I described above and by the way , before that, he was ticketed for driving with a suspended license and then he was convicted for driving while intoxicated after crashing his car into a utility pole... I mean, your guy here ain't a saint. Don't defend him like if he was an innocent baby that just fucked up this time.
 
I'm a huge Jones fan, but...
He is doing dumb stuff. If he has a licence, he wouldn't be getting a ticket for leaving it at home. That's not what driving without a licence means.
Driving without a licence means you have no licence.
No registration and no insurance means car towed and impounded.
Fine plus hefty tickets.
If he is on probation, it gets more serious.
Then he says, "just tickets."
Doesn't sound like he is taking his situation seriously to me.
Doesn't sound like a lesson learned.
I don't live in New Mexico, so maybe things are different there, but I doubt it.
 
I love how dismissive he is about this. Disregarding it as just tickets. You drive without a license, you're breaking the law. It just shows his character. He doesn't give a fuck and has no respect for authority as soon as hes given an inch. The guy is lucky hes an amazing fighter because he seems to be a really lousy person.
 
Stop it guys. Driving without a licence is perfectly fine. You don't drive more / less dangerously depending on how far from your pocket your licence is. Stop the hate.

He had his license taken away, he didn't forget it. We can say let him fight, but he may be in jail again and not able to fight if keeps up this kinda stuff.

When you fuck up as much as he has, he should expect to have his balls busted. He should probably show a little more humility. He doesn't know what "being on your best behavior" means!
 
Ironically, the same people saying who cares what he does outside of the cage, are also the ones that complain fighters don't get payed enough. If you dont care what fighters do outside of the cage, why do you give a fuck if they get payed?
