But, the fact that it has become "the norm" through use and repetition makes it normal.

What's wrong with using AI as a tool to complete tasks? Writes what you want in a fraction of a time. Seems like a no brainer.

I don't have a problem with people using it for daily work purposes etc but if you're sending out a retirement message where you're supposedly reflecting on your career and legacy you should probably take a few minutes to have it be genuine & authentic, not slapped together by AI lol.

I threw in the Thesis of one of my Professors a few years ago into one and it told me the text was 98% Ai generated.

The Thesis was written in the late 90's lol.

I personally don't care as I think most people don't and just think it's funny. I don't hate Jon Jones at all and at one point he was one of my favorites to watch. It's, to much of a lesser extent, like going to make a speech at a funeral and finding out it was all generated by chat GPT. Something that should be relatively easy to write out yourself, considering your entire life has revolved around fighting. All it really does is confirm Jones doesn't respect the sport or anyone who supported him which most already knew anyway aside from those still supporting him disrespecting the sport his entire career.
