I dislike Jon as much as the next guy, but this line of argument has never made any sense to me. He makes weight just like everybody else. He is not the only tall and rangey fighter in the world, either. If long reach was some kind of secret weapon, Stephan Struve would be GOAT.

Jon is a specimen, for sure.

It is kinda funny hearing him talk about "hard work" when he has previously bragged about entering championship fights with almost no training - didn't he brag about partying and doing drugs the week before a title defence?

Now, it's just "hard work." Cool, Jon.

I understand many guilty people say they're innocent, but innocent people have spent the rest of their lives in prison for crimes they didn't commit. Innocent people have been executed and exonerated by DNA evidence after the fact.
 
jons advantage has always been his genetics. by far. his build was made for this. he was good from day 1 in the gym. His mind is definitely powerful its helped him in this sport but also hurt him equally as much.
maybe he was micro dosing peds his whole career. who knows. who cares. if he was doing it others could be too apparently its what a lot are doing these days. i'd find it hard to believe that an olympian in dc never used a ped or had retained benefits from past ped use. This is sports. It is to hard to regulate ethical and fair play. they probably will not exist in this same form 200 years from now given this fact and genetic engineering being a thing. its not legitimate its sports entertainment. within this bubble jon is undisputable goat. They will never be able to design ped's tests to keep up with the ped usage. its to hide and mask stuff. usada has a lot of flaws. it largely still is an iq test.

fighting is more than just the ufc and the other organizations. its the sports books, its the athletic commission , its filling the sport arenas, its a lot . a lot of business's make a whole lot of money. its not as real and pure as you want it to be and at no point does it make sense for it to be. to much money is involved.
