Most people around me were doing coke before I tried it. I remember being around them sober and they were such yammering jackasses. But when I tried it I became one too. It is funny cuz you basically just throw out bad business ideas and talk paranoid sketchy nonsense lol. The coke scene was not cool like potheads, everyones a paranoid creep. It makes people that way and the law of diminshing returns kicks in pretty quick with a coke habit. It was easy enough for me to avoid as I was a poor and couldn't afford one. But once in a while it was a good time. Haven't touched that shit in like 20 years now. This seems like fitting conversation in a Jon Jones thread.

People around me on hard drugs and I always said "never that." I also JUST smoke weed. Drinking is an only on occasion when with family or close friends. I drink maybe 5 times a year max.
