Should his gun be confiscated?

A FN Herstal 5.7 is chambered in 0.224 caliber but it is very high muzzle velocity for a small caliber handgun.
That is a slightly unusual weapon & uncommon ammo and damaging rounds due to v high muzzle velocity.

If I had to have a small caliber handgun I'd probably take a Herstal 5.7:

Quite expensive compared to a Glock, but really nicely made and terrific looking weapon IMO.
The cartridge is much more like a rifle cartridge. That's a substantial shoulder and taper. Even though it's a small projectile. Fun sheit happens when you're moving fast enough.

Obviously, Sherdoggers being 6'6'' 320 wolverines, can not only beat up any sub 155 fighters, but withstand low energy bullets no problem.

<Lmaoo>

I'lll have you know a sherdogger can only be stopped by a superior marksman using twin desert eagles. Anything less won't even leave a sratch.

is that because of low recoil enabling faster more accurate shots and low sound so they can’t hear you coming?

I’m a noob seriously asking
It's cause you can shoot someone in the head and not make much noise...

Why do people act like 9mm or 45 is hard to control? My wife shot my Glock 9mm for the first time a few months ago and was dead on at 15 feet.

Most encounters will be that many feet or less. Obviously any gun is better than no gun but if some dude is drugged up y
It can kill someone just as easy as any other caliber.
just as easy?. yeah no.

i took my 59 year old mom and 37 year old Gf to shooting range for grins and they both could barely pull back the slide on a 22 pistol

they were both awfully afraid of the kick even though there was none....

i don’t think there’s anything wrong with starting to learn to swim by dipping your toe in the water.

9mm is my favorite round..

I got four 9mm pistols, one .40 and one .380

I just bought a new 9mm Springfield a couple weeks ago or so.

I heard Jon had a 'GhostGun' which has the ability with a .30 caliber clip to disperse 30 bullets within 1/2 a second. 30 magazine clip in 1/2 a second.

A really good friend of mine's dad slaughters cattle and butchers them. He uses a 22 caliber to kill the cattle before butchering. And like you said, most encounters are probably going to be within a few feet. If you hit someone in the head, they are dead.

I can see how far the tolerance for guns has gone, if people think this is a "BB gun" xD
You need a reality check, guys xD
Not against guns, only irresponsible users (and there are a LOT of them), but that's a lethal weapon.

It’s definitely a lethal weapon with a close range shot to the upper head, carotid artery, or heart, no doubt about it.

People are just giving Jones shit about it because it’s a gun that a 90 lb female or an elementary school child (supervised of course) would be capable of using. Jon is not only a 6’4” 220 lb combat sports champion, but he’s the best in the world at what he does and also a colossal fuck up outside his profession, so he’s a ripe target (no pun intended) for criticism.

Yeah, I get all the "macho" comments. I guess some people think you need a 0.50 Desert Eagle as a minimum to qualify as "a man" :D
Now that I think about it, goes along with Sherdog height scale :D

I love plinking with .22 pistols. Ammo is cheap af, and they're just fun to shoot.

Possessing a gun with a BAC of . 08% or more is a criminal offense in Nevada even if the person is not impaired. In short, it is against Nevada law for someone to have physical control of a gun with a BAC of at least . 08 or while impaired from alcohol, drugs, or other compounds.

NRS 202.257 - Possessing a firearm under the influence ..

Not sure about NM.

what's your favorite 9mm that you have?

My favorite is my IWI Jericho 941. It's got the steel frame. I don't carry it because it's too big and heavy

The one I keep on me is my newest Springfield XDS9 Mod2. It's two tone. Black slide and flat dark Earth frame.

I really like the Springfields. I avoid the ones that say "grip zone" on the frame. I do like the grip safety.

My Jericho is to me is the best looking handgun ever made. I regret not getting it in a .40 or .45 though. 9mm is too small for that pistol. I've only shot 16 rounds thru it and put it up. I wanted to get the older Magnum Research model that actually says Desert Eagle on it but couldn't find one...
