It has been pretty expensive at times but I get the Hornady blue tip 40 grain for about $26 for a box of 50 so it’s not exactly cheap. I also have a few boxes of the military/Leo ss198lf 27 grain I got for around $30 a box. And yes I may be biased because I spent $1,300 on a pistol but I think it’s the ultimate carry gun, High capacity mags, light weight, adjustable sights and can be accurate at 50 yards light weight, high velocity and armor piercing capability. I’ve seen some videos of the 5.7 on gelatin and the wound Channel is larger than some of the higher caliber rounds lol I swear by it.absolutely man, nice choice.
As the rounds are so small caliber, it holds a standard 20-rounds in the clip, very nice. Most 9mm are only gonna be maybe 14 or 15rounds.
Question : what do the rounds cost for a box of 50 in the States? just curious. I know some people same the ammo is pricey compared to 9mm ammunition.
So basically the only way to kill someone with a .22 is shooting the victim in the head at point blank range, and that's a possibility.A .22 is not a BB gun. At close range, a .22 can do quite a bit of damage, especially to the head. The bullet generally doesn't leave the skull, so instead it bounces around, tearing up brain tissue.
The US military uses the M16 and M4 as the primary rifles, which are chambered in .223 (5.56mm) compared to the much larger 7.62x39 round used by the AK47 and its clones. The reason? The smaller round does more damage when it hits the body as it tears through organs.
A BB gun, though, basically won't even draw blood usually.
See the difference?
Should his gun be confiscated? Yes, until such time as he is found guilty, then it should be confiscated permanently, or; at such time as he is found not guilty and it should be returned.
Your ignorance and condescension are hilarious. So basically the only way to kill someone with a .22 is shooting the victim in the head at point blank range, and that's a possibility.
And you say this is not BB weaponry?
If smaller means more damage then they should ditch 5.56 NATO and use .22 LR instead, Jones should acted like a good civilian and switch from .22LR to .45 ACP.
No, 22 lr has a good chance of killing someone with a few centre of mass shots. A shot to the heart, lungs or surrounding major blood vessels will kill or atleast incapacitate an assailant every time. A shot to the head with any firearm results in death 95% of the time.So basically the only way to kill someone with a .22 is shooting the victim in the head at point blank range, and that's a possibility.

I'm not sure what made you think I don't know or agree that 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington are interchangeable, duh.Your ignorance and condescension are hilarious.
5.56 NATO is .223 - as in, the round itself is about the size of a .22, but with a larger cartridge.
And it's 100% not a BB gun. You can believe that or not, but unfortunately for you, facts don't require your belief in order to be facts.

Right on, but why would he buy a .22LR that requires you hitting the head/heart/so when he could actually spend less and source a .380 ACP or 9mm instead? They all work the same way, but .22 < 9mm kurtz < 9mm parabellum. No, 22 lr has a good chance of killing someone with a few centre of mass shots. The problem is you have the be accurate as the rounds have minimal expansion and cause a smaller wound channel so you have a lower chance of hitting the above mentioned organs.
In the case of most fighters and celebrities, it's probably better that he not touch them. As weird as it sounds, it's harder to prove that a fight wasn't instigated by him. But, if he shot someone, facing him, it would be pretty hard to prove that he instigated that encounter. Besides, fighters don't always want to fight everyone. Especially if there are multiple attackers. He just has it to keep people from getting away. He'd rather strangle someone than shoot them.
It's not a bad choice, if you're a public figure and don't actually want to kill anyone, just stop attacks. And you're uncomfortable with drawing and shooting higher calibers in split seconds.Right on, but why would he buy a .22LR that requires you hitting the head/heart/so when he could actually spend less and source a .380 ACP or 9mm instead? I'm flabbergasted that Jones had a .22LR, it makes little sense to own it unless he had it to plink some cans.
The only other option, and let me stress how unlikely that is, is being fond of that theory where every attacker stops chasing you after being hit by a buller (therefore calibers/stopping power won't matter much) alongside being such a bad shoot that he can only handle .22LR recoil. Not impossible, but unlikely.
Unless they read the comments on their instagram. Can't believe how many people just talk so much shit.Besides, fighters don't always want to fight everyone. Especially if there are multiple attackers.
lol pussy 22
Guns aren’t registered, unless they’re a restricted NFA weapon or accessory like a full automatic or a silencer.
You might wanna look up the differences in velocity...Your ignorance and condescension are hilarious.

No. But having it in the car while driving dead drunk...
I'm not sure about that. Look up 223 hits leg. That is completely false, lmfao. Stop posting shit you don't know anything about. A .22 round will not bounce around in your skull. However it is obviously quite deadly if you get shot in the head.
The reason why 5,56 is being widely adopted instead of a larger caliber like 7,62x39 is weight (the amount of ammo you can carry) and "accuracy through volume", the wound channels of your average 7,62x39 are more damaging than that of your average 5,56 round.
