Jon Jones attacking Ariel Helwani on Twitter

Cope?

Are you OK, son? I’m going to continue to call out both fighters and their fanbases.

Why don’t you try to prove me wrong?

Because you can’t, alright.

No one asked you to call anyone out or compare anyone to the sociopath that is Jones. Lol let it go. Find a better way of coping.

Yeah, it was the guy who just walked into a new sport and fucked up the undefeated champ that's scared.

<36>

Lol at this goofy UFC shill trying to argue that competing in another sport against an undefeated P4P great was an easier fight. Proof you will say anything. You are not a serious person. I hope you are getting paid for these posts because this is embarrassing.

You mean, the sport where the things he's best at in MMA are nothing special?.

Pretending Fury was a harder fight than Jon is complete nonsense. Fury got knocked down and arguably lost because he literally had zero choice but to strike with Ngannou and fight him at his strength. Jon doesn't likewise have to do that in MMA and can instead fight Ngannou at his own strengths.

We all know you're disengenuous hacks because we all know what happens if Ngannou fights Fury in MMA instead of boxing. Literally nobody thinks it similarly goes to a close decision in MMA. 1 leg kick from Ngannou, 1 takedown, etc., and the fight's over. It's almost like kicking, elbows, takedowns, and grappling all suddenly completely swing the fight in his favour now that he doesn't have to strictly box Fury. So weird how you don't similarly apply that to Jones who likewise has advantages over Ngannou and would fight him there instead.

Again, it's like you're complete hacks or something.

Btw I love how we're calling Fury things like an "undefeated champ" and "undefeated P4P great" but not calling Jones that. Jon's literally been a champion longer than Fury, has more title wins than Fury, is his sports overall GOAT unlike Fury, and is also undefeated.

Again, it's like you're complete hacks or something.

Jon lacks any self-awareness. He literally just posted that Francis didn’t believe in himself and wasn’t willing to gamble on himself. Ngannou is the epitome of believing in yourself. Meanwhile Jones is stuck with a company that’s been insulting him for years.

Nah Jones believes in himself too. He's the one who went up to HW and won the title, something people doubted he could do for over 10 years.

Obviously Ngannou believes in himself too. It's always black and white on sherdog.

You mean the one where he popped right after and got stripped of the title for cheating lmao

Jon beat DC at UFC 182 and then was stripped while preparing for Rumble 3 months for hitting the pregnant lady and getting arrested. Nothing fight related.

Learn your history mate. DC was the definition of a paper champion then.

Wow this is an uncharacteristic horrible loss for jones on twitter. Seeing lose in the cage is not that rare, he has had three questionable decisions, one of which was a flat out robbery, but on twitter the guy was undefeated.

yet saying Nganou was unwilling to bet on himself is literally the opposite of what happened, he risked the near impossible chance of getting a fight against fury (Was very improbable at that point) and end fighting in the PFL fighting truck drivers forever.
Even in the off chance of getting the boxing match he would get destroyed as he has been out struck in the past by fighters in MMA.

the guy not only won the bet by getting the fight but he improved his boxing skill to the point where he almost beat fury, now the guy already made more money than jones ever will in the ufc but he has more guaranteed boxing matches in the horizon, Eddie Hearn himself is speaking about a rumble in the jungle 2 with Joshua and Nganou l.

not to mention he still gets to go to the PFL and smash some cans, something I wasn’t interested in seeing before but now with all the hype id tune in.

Wow… jones sounding really jealous here, seriously.

Oh dang, he is gone! I don't know if I ever saw that guy without yellows.
Word, the weird thing is, I aw him a couple of day ago without yellows (I noticed because I nearly didn’t recognize his AV / name without the yellow - no joke) and now boom! Gone. I ended up enjoying his stuff and hoped he would chill out a bit and hang around. Oh well.

Money was never an issue for Jones. The opponent had to make sense, as he himself has said again and again and once Francis was gone, it made sense.

Funny, here's an article from Nov 2022 stating Jon's HW debut was planned for March 2023 exactly he did debut. And months before Francis ever left which didn't occur until Jan 2023.

And look, here's one from October 2022 where the same thing happens that they want Jon to fight in March 2023.

https://mmajunkie.usatoday.com/2022/10/ufc-news-francis-ngannou-vs-jon-jones-march-2023-possibility

Again, long before Francis ever left.

Jon's return was planned for March 2023 long before Francis left and he instead had to fight Gane for the vacant title. People have complete revisionist history about what happened not even a year ago because they just want to run with the narrative that Jon was scared of Francis despite him literally agreeing to fight Francis and everybody else put in front of him for his HW debut.

Lol DC and Jones fought in July and he popped and was stripped in August.

Lol and now Jones unraveling from jealousy because he knows Ngannou made the right choice walking away from UFC. Man the UFC has been taking Ls since Ngannou fought Tyson. And if it leads to Ngannou fighting Wilder under the PFL banner…haha that would be awesome.

Jon lacks any self-awareness. He literally just posted that Francis didn’t believe in himself and wasn’t willing to gamble on himself. Ngannou is the epitome of believing in yourself. Meanwhile Jones is stuck with a company that’s been insulting him for years.
Exactly. He didn’t want to sign a long term low pay contract that included a Jones fight for good money. He took a massive gamble on himself and it paid off handsomely. If he would have gotten smoked by Tyson then his stock would have dropped tremendously. He did an amazing job and if he can keep it going he will make an obscene amount of money.

Imagine if he would have signed that long contract with the UFC that had great pay for fighting Jones and then crap pay for everyone else. Then Jones gets hurt and needs surgery and they never end up fighting. Now he’s stuck in that long contract for crap money.

Eh. I can see it both ways. It's not exactly proven that fight offers were given to jon and he refused out of fear.

Francis leaving to go fight a gypsy herky jerky slob doesnt really make me think hes a bigger bad ass for doing so, even if he made a lot of money.

For francis, whom was the tougher fight? Which was he most likely to lose/win?
