John McCain "Trump poorly informed". This is rich.

Millions upon millions like that Kardashian show and still listen to rap too. Counting fools is easy with a population of 300 million. I'll take John McCain's word and service to this country 100% of the time over Trump's.
This country voted for health care reform, part of Trump's platform for getting elected. McCain has some nerve invoking the name of the people when its his own base who wants this change. Elected officials are there to work for the people. McCain pretends to know that while clearly ignoring it.

He's clearly taken things trump said about him personally and is using us all as pawns to exact revenge.

Repeal and replace with something better, not some other terrible idea. Replacing it just to say you did is hurtful to everyone involved, for the sake of team politics. It's not a scoreboard.

But as far as you saying McCain may be personally offended by Trump and therefore less likely to publicly bullshit on his behalf, it's almost as if voting for a big mouth who personally insults other politicians wives and daughters might be...a bad thing? Maybe the country doesn't run off liberal tears? Maybe they actually have to work together?

Who would have thought, right? I thought voting for the human version of triumph the insult comic dog was gonna be great.

Trump Dumpsters are so easily triggered its scary.

I reviewed the facts and see he voted against the repeal. Something Obama would have done.
No, actually, he did not, so we have already established that you suck at reviewing the mere facts. He voted for repeal. He favored repeal, but not without a replacement (which is tantamount to anarchist chaos). He even cast the deciding procedural vote that allowed for the Skinny Repeal vote to take place.
McCain wouldn't have put it through to begin with, so that's a major difference between the two. But other than that they are the same person. And Hillary is the same too. The only slight difference I can see between parties is that Democrats are slightly more pro Wall Street, because they aren't as financially literate as Republicans, and Republicans are slightly more pro corparations.
Your ignorance is astonishing...
The saga of repealing glass steigal makes this point rather self evident.

...which is why your inability to come close to spelling that word correctly isn't.

It's kind of ironic, this thread is meant to bash McCain but pretty much everything he said in the OP's quote is spot on.

1. Trump has the authority and responsability of POTUS, and that (not the man himself necessarily) should be respected.

2. Congress should, in theory, cooperate with him if it means doing right by the people.

3. They are not his minions or underlings.

4. They are, in fact, meant to act as a check on him (y'know, the old "checks and balances" boring stuff you overheard in civics class).

5. They have a responsability towards the people who elected them.

6. Above being Republicans or Democrats they are, first of all, congressmen.

I'm not saying he necessarily acts upon those words, but the statement itself is actually very much praiseworthy.

No one has suggested that congress be his minions. We did however stack the government with republicans to enact a specific agenda...the one Trump is trying to pursue. We didn't elect a republican congress to stonewall Trumps agenda. They have a responsibility to purse the agenda the people elected them to pursue which they are not doing.

So yeah, McCain's blankets statements are correct but the spirit in which he says them is disingenuous. He is using these things to work against the American people while pretending to be looking out for them. He is putting his ego and globalists interests before the job he was sent to do. And he knows it. So fuck that guy.

Not really. Representatives are elected on an individual basis (X Republican versus Y Democrat), not as a collective unit. So each one is responsible for looking out first and foremost for his own constituents (that's the whole point of a representative democracy). And don't say shit like "we did this or that". There is no unified specific agenda. Congressmen are not bound to any such agenda just because Trump promised it during the presidential election.

Nobody stonewalled the healthcare bill. They were presented with the responsability of voting on it once it was presented to them, and the version that was presented was rushed behind closed doors and had plenty of flaws. Again, just because Trump made it his agenda to repeal and replace Obamacare, doesn't mean Congress (Republicans in it I mean) is obliged to pass through any bill that serves that purpose. They still have to analyze it and, upon close inspection, this specific bill was a pile of garbage.

I don't think it is personal at all. McCain is just bought and paid for and doing what his bidders demand. Nothing but a puppet.

Well I disagree so therefore the he'll with McCain

jokes on you. Republicans have Gerrymandered the states up so well that they will stay in control of a good majority of states regardless of how you feel about them. Look at McConnell. NOBODY likes that guy and his seat is safer than flavorless gum.

How can you gerrymander a state level election?

What does that have to do with a quote from John McCain?
You and your radical right wing extremists constantly screech about cnn is fake news, yet you keep sourcing them.

Are you intentionally sourcing fake news?

Mccain could be brain dead in a coma on life support and would still be more intelligent than Trump.
