Joe Rogan isnt sold on the Bing Bang theory finds Jesus resurrection more plausible

You can tell by how welcoming they are to other faiths and multiculturalism. Any melting pot out there, and it was a Christian nation that allowed it.
Again, I’ve got to use Japan as an example of a country with multi culturalism but lacking Christian roots

Damn you keep going back to Japan as if one exceptional outlier somehow disproves hundreds of examples to the contrary.

I already told you, Japan is exceptional in every way, they're the only "eastern" country that functions like a western country, they are an exception to most rules when it comes to pretty much everything, mostly because at some point they realized how backwards the nations that surrounded them were, and decided that they would model themselves after the west.

If anything the example of Japan only further proves our point.

I think this is true.

Christianity is also perfectly at peace with atheism.

To prove Christian inclusivity and multiculturalism there are a bunch of examples in Africa.

The most diverse countries in the world seem to be in Africa, and Christian nations top the charts there too.

They celebrate cultures from all over the world
Don't know if you're trolling, but that doesn't mean they're multicultural, dude. It's all Japanese over there, with a few white businessmen and some tourists peppered in. They're not a melting pot.

I’m happy to work it from the other end: the Bible provides a litmus test to see if someone is a real Christian. If you honor Jesus you’ll demonstrate love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. That doesn’t sound like any western country.

I’m not against running our country the way early Christian’s lived. The disciples who spent time with Jesus and witnessed his miracles set up a community of believers where they were of one heart and soul, and no one claimed private ownership of any possessions, but everything they owned was held in common… There was not a needy person among them, for as many as owned lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold. They laid it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need.

That doesn’t sound like any capitalistic society we have currently

You must have missed the 20th century, the whole "from each according to his ability to each according to his needs" thing has been tried over and over and failed miserably every time.

Fortunately for you it's still not too late since a few countries are still running that experiment. If you'd like to live in such a society, Cuba has some great beaches, and Venezuela has some beautiful women, and maybe on your next trip to Japan you can make a quick stop in North Korea which is on your way, see how that utopia is working out for the people's who actually live in it.

But in all seriousness, unfortunately I know that world all too well, I was born behind the Iron curtain, my wife is Cuban and I've spent several years there as well, and I even visited Venezuela while Chavez was in power, and every one of these places is a nightmare for the people who live there, and somehow they all dream of living in these Christian capitalist societies that you're shitting on. Crazy.

Yes, Luke Thomas would likely make a rational and factual observation based on Rogan's own public statements.
AKA Luke Thomas would soy out/talk shit about white people whilst also talking down to people who believe in the metaphysical. Luke Thomas a man who openly loves gooning and is a substance addict, yeah that’s the guy I want to take advice from. I don’t even like Rogan either, but I’m glad to hear he is steering towards God and spirituality.

1. Joe Rogan isn't an idiot, but plays one. His morals weigh less than his propaganda bucks. His fans are idiots, though.

2. Jesus was awesome, but he dead.

No one really understands the Big Bang theory. We have no concept of nothing. Lots of people will pretend they do to scoff at those who question it but we have no concept of nothingness.
It's a cyclical situation where the universe expands and implodes on itself over trillions+ of years, and life finds a way due to star dust and the perfect conditions.

What isn't there to understand?

That’s all well and good, but I still think it makes no sense to call a nation “an Christian nation” when so little about their governance and social orders reflect the actual teachings of Christ himself.

I might be wrong but I would assume within the context of the thread they meant multi cultural in terms of people following different religions as Japan is a pretty varied country in that way.
