I like Joe. I usually agree with his opinions and point of view. This statement however, cannot and will not ever be forgotten... it will always be remembered as one of the biggest jokes in MMA history.

It wasn't logical. Languages have adjectives for a reason. If he wanted to specify what kind of athlete he was talking about, then he would have, but he didn't do that. He he wanted to spread his praise even wider and hype her up even more, so he said "once ever athlete" to encompass all athletes, not just "fighting" athletes. I assure you that Joe knows how to use an adjective, and I assure you that he knows how to express himself.

He's back tracking.


It doesn't even matter, though. It would just be better if Joe was like, "yeah, I made a silly comment." Also, you should probably say that, too.
