Media Joaquin Buckley calls out Shavkat Rakhmonov in INTENSE speech *Update* Shavkat responds

Shavkat was this and responded with a comeback. Some people didn't like it as it involved race.

I know then he got hurt and sat out forever.

Right, but you said Neal like Garry and Wonderboi never happened after.

And it's not like he's been gone for years. He fought almost 1 year ago. He was next in line at that point. He wasn't going to be fighting for like 6 months anyway until a title shot could be scheduled.

It does suck that he couldn't get in at least one fight during 2025 tho for sure.

I spaced he beat Garry after Neal, which I said somewhere itt. Shit was forever ago. I did not forget about wonderboy or neal tho.

Dana sent this dude to retire Usman, and he got dominated, so what he should do is just shut up, and wait for whatever fight they give him.

Probably because those fights are sorta forgettable lol. Wonderboi and Garry were crap fights.

Buckley is a problem for anyone on the feet in the division. I don't have a doubt Shavkat couldn't take buck down and sub him or G and P him after what we saw Usman do but Buck can crack and Shavkat is hittable so I wouldn't count Buck out, especially not when Shavkat went life and death with Geoff Neal not long ago..

Long time ago too. If they give him Buckley he probably finishes him and then he's coming off a fresh win via finish and that's all that matters.

Yeah he lost but dude is always asking for tough fights. That's not a bad thing.

Dude we're talking about racism that goes back to the 1800s. Long before DEI or karens were a thing. And the fact that some people do call every little thing racist doesn't suddenly make genuine racism not a thing anymore. That's... not all that logical.
Is it all that logical to harbor hatred from events stimming back to the 1800s?

Ohhh shit

My :eek::eek::eek::eek: Buckley intense af, he actually cut a good promo

It's not for non-native English speaker tho. I had no idea it was a thing until McGregor said it to Mayweather and it made a huge drama. Shavkat being Kazakh he probably doesn't know like I didn't back then.
its lame ass shit. In russian, black people are often called Negr, which carries no negative racial connotation whatsoever, its just a descriptive term, kind of like saying Shavkat is an asian. Black boy is nothing but a descriptive term, black people in the states find everything racist, its a virus in their head.
There were no black slave culture there, they don't carry that attitude across.

You're right, black people should forget that their families and ancestors were thrown onto a ship, stripped naked and stacked on top of each other, and left to hang out with the dead and rotting bodies on the bottom of the ship, on their way to the New World for more horrors and atrocities. Not to mention Native Americans being slaughtered and every other race being treated like absolute shit once white people took over.

Abhorrent racism still exists today, and is a problem, but you can go ahead and stop talking about it if you want, just don't be like every other moronic dumb fuck and be like oMg DeI HiReS wOkE kArEnS or some other retarded nonsense.

Yeah that's fair just pointing out as an american it's not a Karen thing. Calling a minority a boy is literally fighting words here lol. Cultural differences and all.

I can speak as an American living in Spain that virtually *no one* here would understand or know in any way that that was insulting. A lot of them also don't understand the n-bomb at all, and only know it from rap, so they assume (fairly, tbh) that there's no issue using it, or it can even be endearing.
Most egregious I've seen here is that tons of people think that the US confederate flag is just a sign of being a biker or a rebel lol- FFS at least they know that swastikas are bad.

Yeah I know American race relations aren't necessarily known overseas that's why I wasn't up in arms about it. But if an American said that to another american I wouldn't buy they didn't know the context.

I guess my ancestors were never treated like shit. News to me, young woke Karen.

Well gee It's not like all the racism stopped in the 1800's right? Across MANY cultures in America there are phrases and terms that are known by everyone to be racist. Not just with black people. There are things everyone here knows not to call people of other cultures unless you're ready to fight. Boy is used as a dismissive and racist term to refer to a black man to this day and in America this is WIDELY known. Just like people know if you walk into say a heavily hispanic or italian or etc. neighborhood and say certain things to people there, you aren't likely to be walking back out.

Respect is a two way street. If you go out of your way to address people in terms that have been offensive to their people for generations, you wouldn't expect to be treated positively in return would you? It's like how a swastika isn't seen as universally offensive, but it would be a dick move to wear one to a bar mitzvah. Context is important especially when you're addressing someone who's customs you aren't familiar with.
