Poatan.
Jiri's "samurai", "chakra"-summoning style is bound to get him caught soon, and who more equipped to do it than Poatan.

Jiri’s SAMURAI SPIRIT absolutely FORBIDS him from NOT trading some devastating shots with Alex, though he may pull some sneaky ART OF WAR/BOOK OF FIVE RINGS tactics in his first post-surgery fight.

Jiri has to go all Diego Sanchez on him and he can win especially because hes a really big guy. Alex is far more skilled on the feet.

alex doesn't deal well with brawls. he's stiff and has shaky defense.
he likes to fight chess matches at kicking range, setting traps to ko his opponents

jiri is faster, younger and has a wider arsenal of possible finishes.
If he can drag alex into a brawl, he'll win.
and i think he will

If Jiri fights like he has been, basically running face first as he throws his punches, I can see Alex clipping him with a lead left hook and finishing the job.
Pretty accurate, I think. Jiri is pretty much all offense and fights a very risky fight. It’s worked for him, but when things start to go bad.. They go bad fast.

I see Pereira finding that chin and that’ll be it.

I was asking about the chin comment: one's tecnique does not change necessarily in a new weight class, while chin is another story.
I'll ask again: do you believe his chin is suspect at light heavyweight? If so, based on what, if you could provide more info.
Thanks!

I think it is suspect. How many times did Izzy have him stunned in all of the times they fought? Alex is larger than Izzy, you would think he would be more durable. What about his kick boxing losses? I feel like if Izzy is hurting at least once per fight that Jimi definitely can too. I like Alex and my comment was not meant to be a backhanded comment towards him, just what I have seen and suspect.

Sniper vs Bushido. I think Jiri get sniped with a rocking straight jab or looping left.

If Jiri fights like an idiot, as usual, he probably gets KO'd, even if I think Alex seems kinda slow.
If Jiri doesn't fight like an idiot and takes it to the ground, it's easy work inside two.

They're both, technically very unorthodox. Jiri just throws basic fundamentals out the window and made it work for him. I wouldn't be surprised if Jiri knocks Pereira out. I'd go for Alex as the safer bet but Jiri should be able to give Alex a lot of problems nobody has given him before IMO.

Jiri likes to fight with chins in the air, and his hands at his waist. Pereira is going to light him up on the feet. I saw some comments said Jiri should take him down, Jan struggled with Pereira and Jan is actual grappler. Jiri could win he has that unorthodox striking style that being said I think Poatan gets it done by tko/ko 2 or 3rd round. As for the Izzy trilogy I’m sure I’ll get hated on for this but Pereira probably puts Izzy in a body bag if they fight at Light Heavyweight

Nobody is more careless and just walks right over onto his opponents range like Jiri...

Its basicly in every fight....thats how King Mo send him to Mars
The King Mo match is about 15 fights back 7 years ago and was the final of the Rizin pyramid when he won an all-out war with current Bellator champ Nemkov 12 hours before that. Something like that is absolutely unimaginable for today's MMA fighters, going into another fight 12 hours later. In other words, yes, Jiri is hittable and put to sleep, but certainly not better than Poatan. That's just bullshit...
