Alex's defence isn't that much better than Jiri's. He takes shots, he's stiff, his stance is upright, and his chin is worse. Jiri takes shots?? Alex has been put out cold, limp.

Alex on paper has less power than Jiri. In 10 MMA fights, Alex has already won by decision 2 times. Jiri has only done so once in 33 fights. Slightly over 75% of Jiri's MMA fights end with him winning by (T)KO, Alex is only 60. He couldn't knock down Jan or Bruno Silva.

I mean,the thing is,Poatan has that Wilder power. That kind of punch can put anyone out. You dont know which punch its gonna be,and neither does he,but when he lands that,it can be over just like that.

Lots of people probably leaning towards Jiri, but I think Poatan continues to develop his MMA skillset and wins this fight. I also think Jiri's post-injury form will be a big question mark. Will he be the same fighter?

Basically I don't see Jiri winning the striking, and at this point Poatan's takedown defense might be enough to keep the fight standing.

Yes Alex is.
But i think this time it will cost Jiri the fight...he can win, thats for sure but i think Alex is more accurate, cleaner, stronger and with more reach in his punches and overall kickboxing than every other guy Jiri has faced.

Jiri gets hit and away with it alot because of his unusual style and positioning...so he is pretty quick out of range and not getting caught with a lot more shots when he is rocked...plus having good recovery.

But i think Alex will be too long, clean and stronger in his punches...

He will either getting caught walking in careless or backing up with longer punches when he got hit good.

...thats just what i think

I was asking about the chin comment: one's tecnique does not change necessarily in a new weight class, while chin is another story.
I'll ask again: do you believe his chin is suspect at light heavyweight? If so, based on what, if you could provide more info.
