I wasnt looking for "intelligent conversation. It was a genuine comment, anyone knows now this is retarded. I more or less expected an adult response back, It was someone I personally knew, who I thought was more grown up than that who I had a friendship with.

I stay off FB for the most part it has become to political and everyone is posting something stupid from some dumb ass source. I mostly see it from my leftist friends though, lots of nowthis occupy democrats and what not. Most of my right wing friends on my list don't really seem to post anything aside from the occasional meme which isn't meant to be taken seriously or family stuff.

The issue is the TYT was on board with the Hillary train and the Russia conspiracy. Jimmy was like, Hillary is a terrible candidate (she is) and the Russia thing is an obvious lie and deflection from the true content of the DNC emails (it was). He's very different from the rest of the TYT ilk, much more tolerable.

I sort of respect Jimmy Dore. He doesn't tow the leftist party line. But he still has a hardon for socialism, progressivism.

The left is what happened. The left upended civility long ago. Once the right realized there was literally nothing they could do or say to prevent leftists from calling them evil racist fascist murdering bigot Nazis, they gave up and joined in the name calling.

You might sit here and pretend there is some hard leftist out there who is all nice and sweet and polite and doesn't think straight, white, Christian, males need to be sent to the gas chamber, but I've never met one. Not online, not in real life, and I've certainly never seen one in the MSM.

I honestly believe Anna was the biggest driving force towards this ending. During TYT shows she would commonly complain about his positions very publicly. I think it was getting worst the last few months. Anna really dislikes Tulsi Gabbart an was told by Tulsi team she could not be part of her visit on the show.

Jimmy a huge fan of Tulsi an she made a trip on his show. I have to say that show was a bit of a love fest more then hard hitting but public spats where not good. Before Anna an Jimmy seemed to get along sharing similar positions on Obama an hard right talk show hosts.

I don't think it had anything to do with Ben. Jimmy did an episode explaining why he broke from TYT. I think he's just blowing up and doesn't have time for them anymore. TYT is really bad though. For as big as they are you would think they would clean up their act, they're very unprofessional, imo, and Ana has really spiralled into a crazy person the last few years. She can't even convey a simple point without an absurd amount of sass. Tough to watch.

But at the same time the US does have low socioeconomic mobility (i.e. the opposite of the American dream), high income equality caused by the previous factor, no single-payer healthcare, etc. If you look at Canada, Australia, Europe, etc, people are chill, they aren't rallying against "the establishment" because necessities have already been met; they can focus on doing what they want. If those issues got resolved in the US, the progressives would go back to eating avocado toasts and drinking lattes.

Cenk addressed Jimmy Dore departure and no Ana around. You can tell there is more to the departure then Cenk is letting on. TYT posters are calling Jimmy a Trumpanezz an are lighting him up in comments.

You can tell many of TYT viewers where not happy that TYT was giving him a platform. Cenk seemed ok with Jimmy but Ben an Ana could not work with him anymore. No doubt donors where also letting them know their displeasure of TYT continuing their business relationship with them.

I think for Cenk it just became to much for him anymore an had to make a move he was likely unhappy about doing. I am sure he may have gotten pushback on hiring Rich Ojeda for segment pieces. It's not fun trying to make everyone happy.
