At 38 hopefully he can put a few fun fights before he goes, but of course the UFC loves to give vets instead young fighters who barely have losses instead of who they really should be booked against.

According to Tapology he's the opening prelim, so he's probably getting chump change. Also, he was supposedly signed to GFL too, and even talked about it in an interview recently. BKFC's contracts are weird, he's probably a free agent already, like their current HW champ Rothwell.

Maybe he has a contract that is only exclusive for bare knuckle boxing, thus MMA is fair game elsewhere.

He would likely have had decent leverage signing with then as he is a bigger fish in their small pond.
